Hey guys,

We're going to keep this short and sweet.

Rob's destroyed his arm and can't play much of anything for what could be quite a while.  So, instead, since we're not going to cancel any shows, we're either going to acousticise it up, or qork out some kind of electronic wizardry for the time being.

So please, come on down to a show, give Rob a hug and sign his sling.

I'm also selling my drum kit. It is as you see here - Pearl VSX (birch shell - high end feature), in Strata White, 14x5.5 snare (remo controlled sound batter head), 12x9 tom (pinstripe), 13x10 tom (standard pearl head, no res head ): ), 16x16 tom (pinstripe) and 20x18 kick drum (Remo power stroke 4 batter head) WITH ORIGINAL HAND MADE 13 RIOTS FRONT HEAD.

Photobucket

Again, this is another piece of 13 riots history for you to own for the princely sum of 300 pounds. It does NOT include cymbals or cymbal stands. This kit has seen 13 Riots rise up into the heart of the music scene, and can be seen in its full glory on the Red Bull Bedroom Jam website! http://www.redbullbedroomjam.com/node/4284 check it out now!!

This kit is all birch toms and kick, which has a lot of 'bottom end', not usually found in drum kits of this price range, which are usually either maple or even less quality woods. As i play 'one up one down' configuration, I've only really paid attention to the high and floor tom, which have remo pinstripe skins on them which are two-ply and are industry standard for rock and RnB music. The snare is a special Pearl alloy called sensitone steel which sounds gorgeous. When tuned tight, it sounds like Lostprophets first album, when more loosely tuned then it has a tone that sounds better for hip-hop and funk.

Just get in contact if you're interested. It won't be available until july/august, but you can make enquiries now and will post out bullitens to tell you when it's officially for sale. Feast your eyes and salivate over this gorgeous sounding kit for now!

This Blog should hopefully be around for a little while and will be updated periodically or whenever there's stuff to add.  It will contain all that stuff you expect from bands but never really concentrate on.

Anyway, I'll start this thing...

All songs posted on this website and released on any EPs, Demos or LPs belong to and are copyrighted to 13 Riots and all members thereof.  Any unauthorised use of these songs will result in legal action if this use is not immediately stopped. All rights reserved and all that jazz.

In layman's terms, if you steal our songs we'll bite your kneecaps off then sue your arse!!  And then of course we might do other unmentionables to various parts of your body.  It all depends on our mood at the time.  But yeah, that's what will happen if you nick our music.

For legal purposes, 13 Riots is Tom Solomons, Daniel Boyce, Matt Boyce and Rob Ingham Clark

Booking the band: To book the band, send any member an e-mail or the band email - 13riots@gmail.com, ask us in person, leave a comment on the MySpace or drop us a PM.  We love playing live and want lots of gigs, okay?  We're also really interested in playing for charity because it's a cool thing to do and they didn't ask us to play at Live 8...
