It is sad but everything must come to an end and so it is with the horn driven rock of Hit-n-Run. After a band meeting last Tuesday we decided to call it quits after our gig of Sept. 18th 2009. Gary Huffman will join us for this last performance on lead guitar. The Brian,s Dana Jo and Steve will probably reform under a new name and with a new song list . It became evident after all the personal changes that the band wasn't the same anymore and Brian A. and Dana can be on the ground floor of a new band as equal partners, We are looking for a new guitar player. As soon as one can be found we will start working on a new identity, new tunes and hopefully an old fan base. We thank everyone for their support and hope you can come out to the OP to hear us one last time.

We are working on new demo songs to showcase our exciting new lineup. we hope to post songs as they are mixed and mastered. We are currently using vintage 4-track tape, for that retro sound of Dolby and tape hiss that you just can't quite accurately mimic using digital technology. Please check back often to hear new material as it is posted! -B.A.

It was a sad day for the band when Sara Seekins announced she was moving to the west coast this summer. Sara was the founder of Hit-n-Run and really it's driving force for 2 years. The band wishes her well in her new adventure and we will miss her alot. Sara expressed her wish that the band keep going and all 5 remaining members agreed. We love doin this.

We sent out word that we would like to have another female vocalist/musician join the band and after 5 weeks of auditions and some very strong candidates Dana Jo Werner was asked and agreed to join Hit-n-Run.

DJ brings a lot of experience to the front of the band as both vocalist, guitarist and keyboard player. She has written her songs and had some recorded. Check her myspace page by clicking her on our friends list and you will hear why we wanted her to join us.

The band feels very fortunate to have DJ with us now and we look forward to getting out in Great Falls and the surrounding areas. Starting in October we will be at the Max Casino and then at the OP.

Hit-n-Run had a great time up in Dutton for the annual fun day event. With temps in the 80's and good food and drinks, everybody enjoyed themselves. We played in front of about 500 people and concluded the show with an awsome fireworks display from behind the stage. The band is going to take a month or two off and regroup but will be ready to hit the stage after summer break.

Hit-n-Run is excited to be part of the "Alive @ Five" this year and especially to be selected to play at Taste of Great Falls. This is an excellent venue for the whole family to come out and have some great food and listen/dance to our music. Taste of Great Falls is Thursday June 19th at 5pm down at the Civic Center in downtown Great Falls. Hope to see all of our friends there.

Recently we discovered   (thanks Jonnie) that our myspace site was comprimised and that some raunchy material was sent out using our name. We apologise to all who had to see it and have taken the neccessary steps to fix the problem. Please be assured that all Hit-n-Run is about is music. We will keep a closer eye on our site.

Now we have a gig in 1 hour at the Beacon Ice House.

The band has been busy this winter. When not cutting firewood to stay warm in Matt's shop we are practicing some material for upcoming gigs. Should have 5 new songs by the time of our next gig. Sara has been busy lining places for us to play and we look forward to take our new act out and have all you great people come and see us and dance to the music. 

With Gary now on guitar we are gearing up for  fall. Our first gig with Gary will be Sept. 15th at Bert & Ernies. Look forward to seeing you there.

Gary Huffman joins Hit-n-Run                           
Hit-n-Run welcomes Gary Huffman as our new guitarist. Gary wowed us with his audition and will be a great asset to the band. He is a Montana native with roots in 60's and 70's rock. Gary has been playing with his church band for the past several years and is looking forward to getting out with Hit-n-Run. Gary has been practicing with the band for 3 weeks now and we are almost ready to hit the clubs again. We should start booking some gigs starting late August or September.
