I've been asked this question many a times over what is the story behind the song "Fairytale Dream" is it a true story, who is the girl behind the song or is this a song I created that has no personal meaning? Anyone who knows me knows that every song I write has a story behind it whether it's based on my life, someone else's life or something I've seen gone on around me. I usually only write songs when I feel inspired, I find it hard to write a song that has no meaning to it and I can't relate to in anyway.

"Fairytale Dream" was written in the fall 2008 and is about a girl whom I was in love with at the time. The lyrics tell the story of a time and place which will forever be embedded in my mind. I lived the song word for word, I think that is why the song came together the way it did. Every time I play the song I relive it over and over again. Sometimes it's more emotional then others I guess it depends the mood I'm in and the audience reaction to it. I remember playing the song live for the first time at Lyndon State College in Vermont. I was just hoping I remember the lyrics because I wanted it to be special because she was along with me for the trip and it was the first time she had heard the song. It was a special moment I will always cherish.

There is a park in Lehighton Pennsylvania that holds a great deal of sentimental value to me. A majority of the song is based around the memories of that park. Memories can be made anywhere and for me they were made in that park on several occasions. They were the good times I am glad to have had and will always remember.

"Fairytale Dream" was recorded over 2 1/2 days in February 2009. The result was a catchy "hook" filled 3 minute pop song. Since the release of the song online for digital sale on Itunes, Rhapsody, Napster, Amazon etc. has sold several thousand copies and counting along with over 215,000 plays on Myspace since it's release on February 7, 2009. I have had an A&R meeting with a label in NYC this past March and have also obtained many bookings from the success of the song.

None of this would have been possible without her. Who is "her" that I keep talking about? That is for me to know as her personal life doesn't have to be invaded just because of a song. I do owe her a gratitude of thanks for helping me see the man that I can.  Altho at times I do procrastinate and have learned from my mistakes for that I am forever grateful.
