H2O-FMA is the name I picked to represent the martial arts that I teach. I am a
certified instructor in the Filipino Martial Arts (FMA) under Guro Dan Inosanto.
I started training in 1980 and  have been teaching since 1994. Through the years,
I've been exposed to different Filipino systems both inside and outside of the
Inosanto Academy.

The logo I'm using has a picture of water and the sun. The eight-rayed sun is
taken from the Filipino flag. It represents light and the search for knowledge.
Water represents flow and adaptability.

I've taught classes and seminars in the United States, Europe, Canada, and the
Caribbean. I teach both the weaponry and empty hand aspects of the Filipino
arts. There are 3 main elements I try to have in all my classes. The first is safety.
I believe in the use of protective equipment not only for sparring but also to help
develop and enhance certain skills. The second element is fun. I believe that it is
possible to work hard and still enjoy the experience. The last but not the least is
the idea that the class should be a learning experience for both the beginning and
advanced students.
