I have become a grandad!!! Whoah, I here you saying, but you look so young! lol

Relax, here is my new addition.....

New kids are always a joy, if a bit of hard work. By the time he's approaching his teens, maybe I'll have a better understanding of him and his ways, and we can live in harmony!!!!

I've had a problem with my Jaw for this last couple of months, which has meant its nigh on impossible to wear cans whilst recording! I cant even sleep on my side, I have to wedge myself up with pillows!

Its been so frustrating not being able to record, when and if the muse overtook me!

On the brighter side, Im seeing a specialist again next month, so hopefully a few answers can be got, and I can get back to normal!

Ive been pondering this for some time now....What is it that makes a song/music score enjoyable?

I think this question would be easier to answer if I only listened to one genre of music, but I dont! My listening tastes are from Folk to metal, Classical to Soul and all points in between, but I still dont know why I like certain songs as much as I do.

It's not just down to words, and its not music either, I just cant put my finger one why I will like one tune, and dislike something similar!

Any suggestions?

Its funny how different sounds can spark creativity, isnt it?

From Birds Singing to the lap of waves on a shore, Even everyday chores can spark inspiration!

 The sound of a new guitar is enough to set my output to maximum! My Girlfriend recently brought me a Classical guitar and the ideas are coming out in a torrent!!! It was the same when I brought my last guitar, just a change of tone can spark a creative avalanche!

Im just in love with the tone and baroque feel the nylon strings impart. Probably because im a finger-picker, but it just sounds so good!

My good friend DJay Buddha has set up an internet radio station, and kindly asked me to present a show!!!!!!! There will be live shows most nights between 2000-0000hrs GMT

Im broadcasting every wednes between 2000-2200hrs GMT. I will be playing oldies and Future Goldies.

If your an unsigned singer/songwriter/band and would like to be played on the station, send me a message and I'll let you know what you need to do.

Its been hectic for me on the music front for the last couple of weeks.

I have started a collaboration with Stuart Nicol.We have already recorded one song together and have more planned. The song is called Ghost and was written and sung by Stuart. I just coloured the guitar a little for him.You can hear it here

Hey all.

Thought i'd write a little note for my page as its been a while since I last blogged.

This week, I brought a new guitar, a beaut if I do say so myself! (Not sure why but the image wont display form photobucket) So, to mark the occasion, I recorded a new song on her! You'll find Immortal on my player.

I've a few more tunes waiting to be recorded and am also working on a couple of  projects/collaborations. I wont say anything about them yet, cause every time I've said my plans in the past, its always gone belly up!

Oh well, that'll do for now.

Bloody technology!!!

For the last couple of days i've been trying to convert my .wav files to mp3 so I can load them onto my site. Do you think they will? Like buggery will they!!!Think the neighbours are getting worried as all they can here is me cussing the bloody software! Poxy computers!!!

That aside, thanks to everyone that has already got in touch/checked out my page, music WILL.....er herm.... be loaded shortly...........
