Friends,

Our acoustic album Shalom is now available in MP3 format on iTunes and CD Baby.

You have two pretty good options for purchasing individual tracks or the full album.
1) If you go to our CD Baby store page for Shalom, you can buy individual tracks for $0.60 and the full album for $3.99.
or
2) You can also purchase the album via our iTunes page for Shalom, but please note the details below regarding the different sites.

------
Some notes on the CD Baby deals:
You get our music for very cheap!
We get the highest percentage of money yet! On an $11 CD +shipping CDbaby keeps $4 (still a very good deal), we pay $2 a CD to print it, so we get roughly $5. In iTunes we get 65% of the net price. With this deal we get 90%(!) of the revenue. Pretty sweet.
With the money you save on one CD you can buy the other ones :)
We want lots of people to have our music!
------

You can also still purchase Steadfast and Deus ex Machina for basically the same deal at $4 each!

Lastly...
We have a nice collection of songs we are looking to record whenever we get the chance. Right now it's a question of raising funds and finding a good time to record. We are considering alternative recording options, and simply waiting for these branches to sprout, if you catch our metaphor and pun.

The LORD bless you and keep you.

We hope you have fun listening to our music!

Shalom,

We are now selling MP3 versions of both Steadfast and Deus ex Machina for $4 each!

If you go to our store pages: Steadfast and Deus ex you will have the option to purchase the CDs at the normal price. Below it you can purchase DRM-free, full-quality MP3s for $4 each. It will work on any portable music player and it also includes a nice digital copy of the album cover.

Current mood:  vibrant
Friends,

David is currently living in Israel and teaching media. A few weeks ago, he put up his "Sword Cam!" video on youtube. The video features music from "Ancient Prophecies" and is generally pretty funny. Watch it here!

Mark is in Northern California. He is working on a getting a teaching credential, and working on music whenever he has a little extra time.

Aaron and Alan are both studying the Old Testament at Biola University in Southern California.

We are all seeking the LORD in the various places he takes us. We have talked about a possible online EP, which would feature demos, live tracks, and remixes.

Blessed be the Name of the Lord.

Shalom,

Hey guys,
Over the last year David from Netzer has been talking to a bunch of Messianic bands and we decided to put together a compilation CD that covers the wide variety of Messianic music out there.

It is called Yeshua Music and we just launched the CD today. For the most part it will be online only. The profits are split among the bands.

Anyway here it is!:

I made a shortcut link as well: shofarrecords.com

We made a video for a song off of our 2004 CD by using video footage from back then.
Here is Mayim:

If you want to compare it to the traditional version of the song compare it to this:

We made a quick video by combining some live footage with a short film that our friend made. It's for Middle, a new song written by Mark.

Apparently one of the Los Angeles Jewish Journal blogs gave a really good review of our Shabbat Shalom video:

Hello friends,

David has finished editing the mini documentary from our time at Messiah Conference, which you can watch on YouTube.
Day One
Day Two
Day Three
Day Four
Day Five
All Alone (live acoustic)

Also, in case you didn't get the memo, we are going to be playing our final show in a few weeks. Our website has more information on that at netzermusic.com. We have had a lot of fun playing shows, meeting people, recording, writing songs, and experimenting with the realm of Messianic Jewish rock! We have some unrecorded songs that we hope may be shared some day. And, we will continue to upload songs and videos to MySpace and YouTube. If you do not yet have a copy of our new album, check out our new cd at www.cdbaby.com or on iTunes. While we're not hurting, we are in debt for the CD, though we do hope sales will continue.

Keep connected with us here and look out for more updates. While the band is taking an official hiatus, we will continue to seek what G-D has for us, and as artists we will continue to be committed to making art that blesses others and blesses the Creator. If you are interested in having us play a rock or acoustic show, let us know and we might be able to arrange it. Blessings to all.

Shalom,

Thanks to all the people who made our CD possible. Josh Callow did our artwork, Aaron Kasdan contributed some electronics, Sean Trank did some vocals, David Castle wrote some songs for us and of course the people who buy our album and go to our shows because this recording project wouldn't be possible otherwise...

Buy the CD: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/netzer2
Buy MP3s: http://www.digstation.com/AlbumDetails.aspx?albumID=ALB000001157

it will eventually be on itunes, rhapsody etc. but they take a really long time to upload independent bands. probably up in march or so.
