Hey Everyone,

Things have been busy, hectic, and out of control as usual.  We've been hopping all over the country and the state of California lately but so everyone knows, we're officially back in business and playing LA again.  There have been a few reports of people thinking that we are still out on tour but those stories are lies.  Liars should be impaled with stakes that have been dipped in au jus sauce.

We've got some sick shows coming up with our homies The Shakers, The Mulhollands, Red Circle Underground, Automatique, Sucker for Pumps, The Naked, The Napoleon Complex, Pine and Battery, and a lot more. Check out all of their music if you like the good stuff.  Remember, just because you have never heard of a band or they are "local" or "indie," doesn't mean that they won't rock you so hard that you have to change your underwear.

Don't be scurred, the album is coming soon.  We're working as hard as we can to make it a speedy delivery.  We've got a ton of cool shows coming up at places like the Garter, Boardner's, O'Brien's, Skinny's, and a bunch of other places soon.  Keep checking back and don't forget to keep an eye on FatCityReprise.net for more Other News and links.

Hey Forkers!

We're here, we're safe, we're eatin good, and the weather's beautiful.

Thanks to everyone who made our Philly, New York City, Atlantic City, and Ohio shows such great times and huge successes.  It was great to see so many old friends and catch up while playing some music at so many great venues we've been lucky enough to call home over the years.

As much as we miss everyone, it feels good to be back in LA and back to work.  We've got an album to release, shows to play, new cities in California to spread to, and new merch to debut over the next few months and we'll be right back on the road again supporting Pirate Radio in YOUR town.  This tour is going to be huge and we can't wait to meet all the people we haven't played for yet. When the dates are confirmed, we'll put them up asap.

Don't forget to keep an eye on the website for new content and news articles.  We've got a few ask Fat City's under our belts and a new video blog.  It's all rolling toward you.

Hey Everyone,

Since we've been home, not only have we been eating like pigs but we've been playing some really cool shows.  Thanks to everyone down at Penn's Landing for hooking up the Taste of Philadelphia show and thanks to Rich and Jo from Bluebond for getting us on their awesome outside show on Passyunk and South.

A special thanks to TJ, Live Nation, and Mike Lowe for setting up the show at the Borgata.  It was a blast, we walked off stage and right onto the tables to clean the joint out.  Thanks to Rich and Jodie from the roulette tables for all the luck. Of course, a huge thanks to everyone who came out to see us at all the shows we've played since we've been back.

We don't know if you've noticed but we put a bunch of shows up on the MySpace and have plenty more coming.  We're going to get those dates out to you guys as soon as we can.  In the meantime, we'll be found in line waiting for water ice and soft pretzels.

Hey Gang,

Things have been going great, we're here with a brief update.  Last couple shows were awesome, thanks to everyone who came out to the House of Blues and the Venice Whaler, thanks to Chris and Jaclyn at Can of Jam for booking us, thanks to Transit Earth and Purple Melon for playing with us at the Whaler, thanks to Kevin for giving us the night, and thanks to everyone else we neglected to mention.

In other news, Vivas did some music for a skateboard video featuring our homie Sammy Baptista with a bunch of footage shot by our super homie Amrit, A-1, The Sauce. Proof is a new skateboard video from Paul Rodriguez and Nigel K. Alexander featuring Sam Baptista, Torey Pudwill, Darrell Stanton, Chaz Ortiz, Justin Shulte, Terrel Robinson, Carlos Zarazua, Nate Principato, Josh Grossuth, Keelan Dadd, Stevie Perez, and Paul Rodriguez.  It has a MySpace and a Facebook and is hot as shit.  Some of us went to the premier and the video is sick so please do check that out.

Also, Amrit's boys over at JusLiv and SK8Mafia hooked us up with some dope shit.  Both of these companies have slamming apparel and Sk8Mafia makes decks and wheels too.  They're based out of San Diego and have all kinds of cool stuff on their websites, which are linked below.

Finally, we're at the Viper Room at midnight on Thursday and it is FREE for anyone on our guest list to get in that night, just message us your name and let us know how many people you're coming with.  It's going to be a great night, don't miss out.

Don't forget to check out our new website, it has all kinds of cool links on it, This Day in History, weekly Poll, In Other News, and our first episode of Ask Fat City Reprise, keep your eyes open for the follow up.

Hey Forkers,

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Viper Room last night, it was a packed house.  Thanks to Chelsea for hooking it up and to Matticus and Rich for manning the helm of the best sound on the Strip.  Thanks to everyone who came out and made the night fantastic.  We also played the Knitting Factory on Friday night and O'Brien's in Santa Monica on Saturday night.  It was a fun three-peat and we're back at it tonight.

Funny enough, our boy Thomas Ian Nicholas from Rookie of the Year and American Pie is playing with his band at the Viper tonight.  We played with him before at our home away from home, The Bitter End in NYC, and will be sharing the stage with him again tomorrow as we return to the Viper Room stage.  Unlimited free guest list, message us.  We go on at midnight.

And don't forget to check out this day in history on fatcityreprise.net!

::  THIS JUST IN  ::  THIS JUST IN  ::  THIS JUST IN  ::  THIS JUST IN

Harry Kalas passed away today.  The voice of the Philadelphia Phillies has boomed into our homes since 1971.  We'll miss you Harry.  We will always be waiting for your sweet baritone voice to come pouring out of the television announcing that the ball is "way outta here."  At least Harry the K got to go out doing what he loved.  The game just won't be the same.  Things happen sometimes that make you feel like you're a litle older, like you grew up a little.  We'll say it again, we'll miss ya Harry.  We'll leave you guys with two of his most memorable quotes.

"65,000 plus on their feet here at Veterans Stadium. The Tugger needs one more...Swing and a miss! Yes, he struck him out! Yes, they did it! The Phillies are world champions! World champions of baseball! It's pandemonium at Veterans Stadium! All of the fans are on their feet. This city has come together behind a baseball team!...Phillies are world champions! This city knows it! This city loves it!"

"One strike away; nothing-and-two, the count to Hinske. Fans on the their feet; rally towels are being waved. Brad Lidge stretches. The 0-2 pitch — swing and a miss, struck him out! The Philadelphia Phillies are 2008 World Champions of baseball! Brad Lidge does it again, and stays perfect for the 2008 season! 48-for-48 in save opportunities, and watch the city celebrate! Don't let the 48-hour wait diminish the euphoria of this moment, and the celebration. And it has been 28 years since the Phillies have enjoyed a World Championship; 25 years in this city with a team that has enjoyed a World Championship, and the fans are ready to celebrate. What a night!"

May the Angels lead you into paradise; may the martyrs greet you
at your arrival and lead you into the holy city, the new and eternal Jerusalem.

Hey Gang,

Today's episode of In Other News is a little gruesome but definitely post worthy.  Just remember, we're just posting articles, the opinions in these articles are of the writer and NOT necessarily the opinions of Fat City Reprise.  We're just trying to get everyone to discuss different issues we feel may be slipping under the radar.

Please feel free to comment on the article or to comment on other people's comments, that's what we're looking for.  Just wanna thank Adrienne for this link real quick too :)

Hey Everyone,

Like all traditions, there is a first time.  Today is the first day we'll be trying this but hopefully it'll be a new tradition spanning deep into the future.  We're going to start posting some links that we think are informative, interesting, or downright dastardly.  We're only going to post links that we think might have slipped past people amongst other major news articles.

It's then up to you guys to read the articles we post and expand your mind.  We hope you like it.  Please feel free to comment on the article or to comment on other people's comments, that's what we're looking for.

Hey Everyone,

We are just waking up from our hangovers to tell you how we got them.

You see, a while back we got down and dirty and made some lemon cello out of the fresh lemons our friend Jules was trying to get rid of.  She has a lemon tree and it dumped a whole mess of lemons onto her.  As Italians, lemonade was out of the question.  When life gives Italians lemons, they make cello.

We zested lemons and oranges, let them sit in grain alcohol for six weeks, added simple syrup, filtered, and three weeks after that we were sipping on some fine cello.  The orange cello that we made is extra good and unavailable at stores as far as we know.

Here's the pics, they don't taste as good as the cello but they're nice :)

Your Boys,
Fat City Reprise

Lemon Cello, Day One.  The Lemons and Oranges are zested and hit the grain alcohol

Lemon Cello, Day Forty-Two.  Straining the liquor and adding simple syrup

Lemon Cello, Day Fifty-Six.  Filter again and bottle
