Rattle the Boards are due to make an appearance on RTE national television as part of the Celebrity Bainisteoir series The programme airs every Sunday evening at about 6:30pm from March 30th 2008 for 5-6 weeks. Rattle the Boards team up with Jon Kenny and his team "The Galtee Gaels" to perform a team song which was written by Jon Kenny and arranged by him and Rattle the Boards. Benny McCarthy from Rattle the Boards recorded the song for the programme. It was a fun experience.

We launched our new CD in Clonmel on Saturday 29th March. Nearly 1000 people showed up to the Clonmel Park Hotel for the event. We had a 2 hour concert which featured many selections from the new album. Danú’s Tom Doorley hosted the evening and we had fellow Danú Donnchadh Gough on Bodhran alongside Ciaran O’Gealbhain who sang with Danú for many years. Decky Dwyer came up for a blast on the trumpet on the now very popular number "Whistling Rufus" it was really great fun. Des Dillon appeared with the famous partner Peggy, we all performed a sketch from Teac A Bloc. A great evening which lead into a Ceili and plenty of friends, drink and chat into the early hours. Definatley worth the huge effort into this party but we hope to do it again for the next album which should happen within the next 10 years.
