Hi all,

After nearly four months of auditions for a new bassist and drummer to join me and David and continue our adventure with MINDSTATE, it seems that finally we are very near to start new projects with new selected musicians. We'll be letting you know who they are in the near future. For sure, once settled, MINDSTATE will continue their gigs in all night clubs and venues and in parallel we'll continue to write and record our own original material.
Thanks for eveyone's support and positive feedback that you all gave us after the launch of our first single "my adrenaline"

Mathew Street festival in Liverpool, England is the largest free annual music event in Europe. Pop, rock and more, is played on several stages at once. This Festival has become so well-known, people even fly in from Japan to see it.It all started around 15 years ago, with a few tribute bands to The Beatles. Now, many bands, some from over the world play at this festival. The involvement and investment by Liverpool Culture Company has seen the introduction of original artists as well, such as Tony Christie, The Stranglers, The Christians, Shack, The Proclaimers and The Buzzcocks. There has also been an unsigned band stage to give the opportunity to local bands to showcase their talents. This year, the festival will be held over five days (August 25-28th), on several stages at the same time, each band playing something different. Three local bands (FIRE, MINDSTATE and CABLE 35) are invited to showcase new material in this prestigious event. More updates regarding this event will be given in the near future.

«MINDSTATE»

Born in August 2003, Mindstate is a group of open minded people, influenced by a vast range of musical styles. Through their strong and continuous effort they are determined to learn the magic required to mesmerize audiences with a blend of art, show and attitude. Since the beginning, the band never looked back, and always found extreme satisfaction in entertaining heavily numbered audiences that regularly swarm local nightclubs. Venues like Rookies Malta, The Alley, City Bar Mosta, and Blues Room together with special situations like the Farsons Cisk Lager Beer Festival rock stage 2004, 2005, 2006 and the Muddy Waters Sunday Rock Show, witnessed memorable nights were varied crowds let themselves loose to a good selection of pumping rock that the band always had in store. With a standard line up of Drums by Steve Farrugia, Bass by Francesco Debono together with Mark Anthony giving a steady back bone on lead guitars and finally topped by a husky, yet sharp and penetrating voice of English man David Lowe, Mindstate is a band worth watching. Influenced by the likes of Metallica, Nickelback, The Killers, Linkin Park and the poetic nature of works by The Doors and K.T. Tunstall, the band is now hard at work giving the last touches to its newly written material before entering the studio. Some of the newly recorded material will start to form part of a promo EP, parts of which might also feature on local radio frequencies. So ears open for updates in this regard. Mindstate is also giving its touch to the warm Summer months by appearing in one of the most prestigious festival held in Liverpool -  The Mathew Street Festival. During that period they are also invited to perform at the Cavern Club. More updates on these important events will be included in the near future.
