Fans loyal and disloyal alike, rejoice in the news that TPIH has welcomed 3 (count em three!) new members to the line up. The personnel for the group has been somewhat of a roller coaster over the last few months but rest assured that we have found a cure, for there are no vaccines in jazz hell. And yet like a vaccine these new entries have given life once again to this rabies infested creature. Wiping away the mucus and resurfacing even stronger like the underside of a blister this game inspired and courageously driven band becomes a new. Combine Geoff (crazy hands) Barone on keys, David (I'm more bad ass with a beard) Andreana on guitar and Timm (I can chant you under the table any day) Bielec on drums along with founding members Mike Z and Epileptic Peat and TPIH is bigger than ever!
Come see TPIH with our new lineup at 64bit Genocide in Baltimore MD (details on main page under show listings).
Also check out our new original band Rope. Sex & the Earth on MySpace at www.myspace.com/ropesexandtheearth
check back for updates, more madness to come...

Greetings fans by and large and few and far between. I am here to answer recent inquiries of the status of This Place is Haunted. The answer is simple. We are back and better than ever. Just like in TMNT 2: The Secret of the Ooze. I should mention though that we cannot promise martial arts equipped pizza delivery men, abnormally large Dandelions or the poor man's version of April O'Neil. We also cannot promise an appearance by Vanilla Ice, Super Shredder or Dummies sporting a variety of bells.
But we can give you our word that our determination, motivation, masturbation and other words that end in 'tion are at an all time high. At this point I would like to mention that the departure of two of our members. Tommy the Cat and JT. They have both served us well and we wish them nothing but the best with future music, med school and Powerball. There's absolutely no hard feelings and we thank them for the awesome fun years together and helping us achieve success on all levels. They will be missed but the show must go on. With that, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome two new members to our corporate team.
Our new/old drummer...The Chief of War; Jeff Diclemente - Jeef the Chief has been with us since the beginning and is stepping back in with a new found sense of awesome as well as muscles peaked to perfection from many hours of working out whilst listening to Megadeth.
Our new Guitarist... Tom 2.0; Tommy Tompkins - Hailing from Long Island, Tom's love of Roadhouse and Unicorns made him the perfect fit to our band. Actually, he's an amazing metal/jazz/disco guitarist who will make you cry tears of blood and shit uncontrollably.
We are rounding out an ENTIRELY new set of material from Video Games, Movies, Television as well as a whole new slew of original material. Holy Fuck, this lineup is amazing and with the band in a more congregated area, we can now focus on playing more live shows.
Our new album "Your Song Will Echo Throughout the Vast Oceans" will be released on New Years Day 09' to celebrate our stint at Magfest 7. This is by far, the biggest undertaking we have ever tackled as far as material and catalogue. Expect the most comprehensive yet sprawling piece of music that will ever molest your ears.
We have new T-Shirts still available but they are going quickly. We will be doing another pressing of an unreleased design before Magfest. Our next show will be at the Too Many Games Convention in Reading, PA on October 18th. We have been laying low for awhile and appreciate everyone's patience while we sharpen the blades of tonal penetration.
Again, thank you everybody. Lots of new stuff happening. This is only the beginning, please be prepared.

We stand at the brink of something purely life altering here... We come to you in the eleventh hour asking for penance and obedience. We are asking that Cane trust Abel and that you remain calm no matter what goes on behind this door. We ask that no matter what your eyes perceive, do not believe anything that goes on in this room. There is only one. Not three... only one.
We are using this platform instead of the normal Pony Express method to deliver news that we are in fact cock deep in recording the new album "Your Song Will Echo Throughout the Vast Oceans" due out in early 2009. We are also very excited to announce our appearance at 32 Bit Genocide in Baltimore on August 16th. This will truly be the death and destruction that your Thanatos is craving. We will be playing alongside our comrade in arms Entertainment System, Year 200X and more. We will have new shirts available. We will have our limited edition EP "This Game is Fucking Bullshit" available for purchase. We are not dead. We only stayed in the ground long enough to carry a smell strong enough to scare the enemy.
New songs up soon including a Daytime Television Theme suite as well as games you have probably never heard of as well as a few classics. This album is looking to be more epic than anything we have ever undertaken... Expect the sky to swallow itself after it's arrival. New original music, new game music, new merch, new look, same brutality. Your tits and cocks are still not safe from being blown off... you will now have to dodge flying guillatines, maces and battleaxes. Good luck you medieval Dickweed.

Well, we meet again and not a moment too soon. This is Epileptic Peat from This Place is Haunted. I am here once again to issue a press statement regarding our happenings and goingson. First off, we want to say MAGFest kicked major ass once again. We had a ton of good times playing and hanging out with both old and new friends. It was bittersweet seeing Chromelodeon playing their last show together but it was also exciting to see some newcoming bands on the scene like Armcannon and Year200x put on hella brutal shows to unsuspecting pregnant women. Babies were literally popping out of vaginas all over the place it was so intense. Don't believe me? Check the placenta fluid all over the floor at the Sheraton Premier.
Anyway, on an even more awesome note, we are well into our recording of our much anticipated second half of our double disc: The Ghost in the Graveyard. It is a full length original CD chalk full of all of our unrecorded originals. It will be fully furnished once again and professionally duplicated. There will also be 6 brand new songs, never heard before. This album should be done by Video Armageddon 3. Oh yeah... we ARE having another Video Armageddon which will be the final Video Armageddon in State College. It is either going to be called East Coast Video Armageddon since our friends The Megas created a west coast franchise of the same name and helped bridge the gap between the two feuding coasts (its a pretty deadly feud, just like the rap 'game' but instead of real guns, its a lot more nerdy in the video game scene -- we use NES Track and Field to settle "beef".) Or it will be titled Video Armageddon 3 (VA3). Either way, its going to not only blow your tits and balls off again, it might just send them to your mother with a little bow on it. That means, in laymen terms that it will be the best one so far. Line-up and date are not official yet. The venue will most likely be the same as they have been very kind to us.
We will be putting on a host of shows at a score of different places. We will have out of town shows as well as a select number of intown shows at State College. Tune in to our website for show updates and details. Any show we will have will be on there and hopefully in a somewhat timely manner. New songs will be posted once they are mixed and mastered. Until then, enjoy the new footage on the website of our shows from Magfest and VA2 when they come up. Thank you all for your support and all that jazz.

Hello broads and beaus. Beep beep beep. Newsfront for This Place is Haunted. Don't worry though, we didn't all collectively miss our period or anything. And rest easy because if there was ever a choice of the baby or the drummer, we would want the baby to live. Harty fuckin har, its a drummer joke to start things off.
This Place is Haunted has been in a writing/fine-tuning phase for a little while. We are preparing for our HUGE HUGE show at MAGfest this year. This is by far the biggest and coolest Video Game and Music festival held every year (next to Video Armageddon of course...kidding brendan). Its located in Vienna, Virginia this year and you can head on over to www.magfest.org if you love America and support the troops. We are planning to unleash a lot of new material during Magfest. New game songs and new original tunes for our great fans below the Mason Dixon Line.
We are also recording our new original cd, tentatively titled "Ghost in the Graveyard". Number of tracks are still unknown but it will be out by VA3 in the spring. I would also like to take this oppertunity and thank everyone who came out to Video Armageddon 2 and making it a kick ass success once again. And i wanna shout out to all those who have come and seen us at every other show. Thanx for sticking by us even though we don't get to play out as much as we would like. Currently, there are no shows scheduled before magfest (January 5-7) but it is likely we will be playing a few house parties before Christmas/Channukah/Kwanza/Ramadhan time. Keep checking back on the site for more details.
We will post new material as soon as it is recorded. If anyone has any requests for game songs they would like to hear at MAGfest, now is the time to tell us. On a side note, our bass player, Epileptic Peat, me, will be playing at a side stage at MAGfest. He is currently recording a new cd and has a lot of new material for the lounge show and he also would like me to state that he hates talking in third person.
Thank you to everyone who bought our CD. Sales are going amazing and we sincerely hope you all enjoy it. Thanx to all the bands we have played with recently. We would also like to inform everyone that Team This Place is Haunted, totally murderized Team Entertain my Balls at Mario Kart Double Dash. They are still crying pussies about it but we will settle up at Magfest. But they have told us to go home. Well, I'm not going home. I'm gonna get on my boat, and I'm going up river, and I'm going to kick that son of a bitch Bison's ass so hard that the next Bison wannabe is gonna feel it! Now, who wants to go home... and who wants to go with me?
