What's up with these fakers?!?!?  

I'm not 33 with two kids..... I'm not 18 and a stripper in Vegas... I'm not on AOL, I am not on on frenzy.com, I am NOT on ANY other websites but Myspace.com...  

Good greif people get your own identity! I've made sure to get all my fakers deleted so don't even try it. Besides, why would you want to go to all that trouble setting up a profile just to get deleted???

Using someone else's pictures and pretending to be them is IDENTITY THEFT... You can actually be caught and prosectued for it by tracing your computer's IP address back to you.

I recently watermarked all my pictures so hopefully that does the trick  Yes, I do have a second profile on here for a few of my really close friends but I will only add you on that page if I personally know you.  BTW, all the pictures on my other page will also be re-watermarked with that page's URL so you'll know it's not a fake   

All of our profiles here on myspace are numbered in the order we signed up. When you view someones page you'll see something like this in the address bar: viewprofile&friendID=15290... I'm number 15,290 out of nearly 20 million profiles... Yeah, I've been on here forever because I knew Tom and found out about myspace when it was just getting started... I hate these fakers who are profile number 18-million something trying to steal my pictures and tell everyone I'm fake... the truth is in the numbers... I was here first so how the heck did I copy you??? Even check out my first comment ever.... It's from Tom himself years ago.... do you need anymore proof?!?

If you find any of my fakers please forward me a link to their profile in a comment below so the harassment can begin...

For others that have fakers here are my suggestions: try watermarking your pictures with your URL or your user number so they are not stolen in the first place. To get rid of an existing faker you have them deleted by emailing Tom with the following information:

A. In order to verify your identity, please send us a "salute". This means we will need an image of yourself holding a handwritten sign with the word "MySpace.com" and your Friend ID (your Friend ID number appears immediately after "friendID=" in the web address/URL when viewing your profile). We can then remove the profile that uses your identity without your permission. Please be sure to include the web address/URL to the profile in question when you send your salute. If you do not have a profile on MySpace please just include the current date instead of your Friend ID.

P.S. here's some watermarking instructions:

 You can watermark your pictures easily if you have windows XP. Just go into your picture file, chose the picture you want to watermark, right click on it, and then go to "edit". Your picture should now appear in an editing screen where you can crop, resize, and add text to your picture. Just click on the "A" on the side bar and click your mouse on the picture making a box to put your text in.  If you don't want the white background behind the text just click that last little button on the left with the shapes and it should go transparent.

Well.... that's the easiest way... if you've got Adobe Photoshop you can do it on that too...
