The NYC Film Race is back in 2008 and will be challenging local filmmakers to create an original short film (4 minutes max) in just 24 hours from Friday, March 28th to Saturday, March 29th. All of the completed films will premiere for the public on April 5th at NYU's Cantor Film Center and the best films will advance into a nationwide competition for thousands in cash and prizes. Winners from each of the 13 cities on the 2007 Film Racing Tour have been decided and are now competing for over $3,500 in cash and Avid Media Composer Software.  The "Best Film of the 2007 Film Racing Tour" will be announced on December 5, 2007.
