Finalement, Amy Winehousea annulé son passage au festival Rock en Seine deux heures avant le moment prévu pour sa montée sur scène, alors que ses musiciens étaient bien là, et avaient répété au cours de l'après-midi. Aucune explication, juste une déclaration laconique de son manager. C'est la deuxième fois qu'Amy plante Rocke en Seine, sauf que, l'an passé, le public avait été averti deux jours plus tôt. Cette fois, les 25 000 spectateurs, dont beaucoup n'étaient venus que pour assister au concert de la diva soul, se sont retrouvés devant le fait accompli, même si beaucoup s'y attendaient: depuis des mois, Amy Winehouse n'hésite pas à annuler ses passages sur scène au gré de ses humeurs et de son état de santé. Il est d'ailleurs question qu'elle subisse une nouvelle cure de désitoxication...
Amy Winehouse a été remplacée par The Streets. Les organisateurs, eux, sont bien décidés à obtenir réparation et vont entamer une action en justice contre la chanteuse. I cannot understand your behaviour, there is no excuse, you are nothing. You don't respect your fans. Happily, Daniel, Jamie, Justice, The Raconteurs, the Roots, the Streets and so on were there! They make their job ! The sound of the Festival was perfect and the stage were great. I saw AMAZING concerts during all this day. These artists made my day. Special mention to db, the Raconteurs and the Streets!
