I'm happy to report for those that are interested that we have a full lineup once more. Edward Spode is behind the kit for us. We're rehearsing to bring it live. Hold on to your hats.

Somebody started a Drugs of Faith profile on last.fm, so if there's anybody into that website and would like to stop by, it's found here.

Also there's a profile for the band at Facebook too, here.

Parastoo, who manages our website, www.drugsoffaith.com, has relaunched her music blog. Being a resident of Stockholm, Sweden, she gets to review lots of metal tours that come through there, or of home-grown Swede death metal.

I'd like to ask our visitors to visit our website. There's additional info there, including news items to 2003, lots more pictures, interview links, a discography, and a slightly different selection of MP3s. Thanks!

A warm thank you to everybody who came to see us, or who watched us play, on the No Speed Limit 2007 tour.

We would have been fucked without Bacteria, Dr. Doom, and Blood I Bleed, and Selfmadegod.

The band started when Jeff Kane suggested we start a punk band in the summer of 2002. We're good friends and had been in a band together before and so I thought it was a great idea! We jammed a few times with Will Klintberg and wrote two songs. Will went to college and after Jeff and I recorded the 2002 Demo. Before I released it Jeff moved and also wanted to concentrate on his band, so I asked Rebecca Burchette and Adam Perry to be in Drugs of Faith.

We played some shows and recorded for an EP, but the recording was rejected by the label, and to be honest we can't blame them for that. So after more shows both Adam and Rebecca left, after which a few more things happened. One of the songs from the aborted session appeared on a Terrorizer magazine compilation, I found two new members, Taryn and Etay, and we recorded another EP (to make a long part of the story short), and we took rough versions of the session and released it as the 2004 Promo. Later we put out the Questions demo. Then Etay moved as well, and that's how Shane came to be in the band.

Interestingly, King Fowley from Deceased was to play drums in the band early on but then he became severely ill, and that's when I approached Adam back then.

Our eight song mini album came out on Selfmadegod, and then the LP version with two bonus tracks came out on vinyl through Fast & Furious, 2006. The next year Selfmadegod released our split 3" CD with our friends Antigama.

In October 2007 we went on the No Speed Limit 2007 tour with Blood I Bleed. We played in Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, and Switzerland. Now we're writing songs for a full-length and compilation appearances.

I think that's about it. Thanks for reading this!
