After weeks of planning, phoning, writing, and planning we are proud to bring you Inroads Festival!
From August 16th through 23rd, 2009, our band and a troupe of emerging artists from Toronto will explore the wonders of Bruce County as part of this festival tour. In hopes of connecting deeply with the landscape, its people, and their stories, we will join with community members in the creation of original works centred on emblematic aspects of each town visited. Each stop on this festival tour will feature a story-sharing and song-writing session, as well as a concert; the finale of which will be a performance of a new song written earlier that day.
This inaugural edition of Inroads Festival will feature The Youngest (Amy Learmonth), Les Arbres (Tim Fagan), Casey Mecija, as well as special guests. Along with these musical friends and community builders, we will visit seven locales in eight days; resting, visiting, writing, and playing daylong in Colpoy's Bay, Sauble Beach, Wiarton, Oliphant, Southampton, the Saugeen First Nation, and the Bruce Peninsula National Park. Writing sessions and concerts will be held in community halls, nursing homes, campgrounds, beaches, and amphitheatres, with the bulk of proceeds going towards the maintenance of those spaces.
Be a part of the inaugural edition of Inroads Festival! Everyone is welcome, every step of the way. Find information on gatherings and concerts, and track our troupe's progress online at inroadsfestival.com.
This is where we adventure... We hope to see you there!

We are proud to be a part of the wonderful compilation, Hibiscus & Rosehips.
This
album was currated by Erin Lang for the amazing Hibiscus Fund for Hope,
which assists lymphoma patients and their families by offsetting cancer
treatment costs not covered by OHIP.
Many stellar artists,
including The Youngest, Snailhouse, Forest City Lovers, Timber Timbre,
Castlemusic, and Ohbijou, have donated songs. These special musical
contributions, unified by flowing sequencing by Erin, makes this
compilation a shinning stand-out, and an excellent gift for someone you
care for.
Pick it up and play it in the beatufiul days ahead.

Hello all, Unfortunately we've had to cancel our show at Teranga. They received a fairly large fine from the city for one too many a noisy show, and they're no longer hosting live music. We were very much looking forward to playing with Lisa and Tim and J FM and Robin Hood, and we're looking for an alternate venue and date, so we'll post new details when we have them. Thanks and see you soon! Ryan
