We, like, shopped so hard last thursday...  and when i say "shopped" i mean rocked.  Our release party was an immense success.  We thank all who attended and purchased items, thus fueling the juggernaut that is RBR.  Check out our picture section for photgraphic evidence of the rocking.  We hope to see the entire city of San Francisco, and most of Oakland at our next show (Cafe Du Nord on Tuesday Feb. 12th)  The sound was amazing at Red Devil and makes us never want to play another room with shitty sound ever again.  Too bad we don't have that much control over our own destiny.  Also, i rented a Victoria Amp, which is a copy of a '58 tweed and it tore a new rectum in the universe... which inspired me to buy it for more than i can afford (i.e. i will truly own it somewhere between '09 and '12).  i'm such a sucker.

we are giving the final mixes of our Long Play Record Album of musical productions a listen this weekend and, once we've tweaked them appropriately, we will have a hard copy in our sweaty, sausage-like fingers.

Then we send it off to the master of disaster, to master our disaster.  Wish us luck.  Also wish yourselves luck, because once this tome of twelve terrible tone-mobiles been heard by human ears, there is no hope for that particular human to have any semblance of normal existence again.  We apologize for unleashing this record so recklessly on an unsuspecting public, but feel it is our duty as (wo)men to uphold truth on a daily basis, however despicable it may initially seem.

It is time!!  This Saturday marks the first of four studio session days at New Improved Recording in Emeryville. We have ourselves a kickass producer and engineer in John McBain and we've packaged up a bunch of cool equipment to include on the record.

This is our first professional recording experience for Raised By Robots and instead of going the demo/EP route, we're going full force for the LP.  We are going for 11 action-packed songs, and action-packed they will be.
