I've been getting a lot of messages asking for more songs to be posted. Anyway, these tracks have been up forever and are starting to collect some dust. So I figure a little change could be a good thing.  Reply with which songs you'd like to see added to the player and I'll do my best to get them up.

I, like most people don't really like it when people ask me for money. This is an appeal that I don't expect a lot of feedback from, but I feel compelled to make anyway.

In order to make my goal of starting a scholarship in honor of my sister I need quite a bit more money than I've raised so far. In fact, I'm about $28,000 short to be precise.

I'm not asking you to give me a thousand dollars or even a hundred. Please just give what you can. I almost gave up before I started when I realized what you need to do what I want to do. Stephanie deserves this, and deserving people will benefit from your kindness.

Thanks, even if you just took the time to read this.

Not technically Snapcase related, but since Dustin was in Threadbare before he joined up with Snapcase and his sister Stephanie was a dear friend of ours, We wanted to do him a solid and post about this here. If you're in or around the Minneapolis area you owe it to yourself to go to this show. In fact, you should probably take a road trip...

THREADBARE (REUNION!!!)
STORY OF THE SEA
BUILDING BETTER BOMBS
ALL THE WAY RIDER

Threadbare will be reuniting for one show at the Triple Rock Social Club on Friday July 18, 2008. Threadbare was one of the most influential bands to come out of the Minnesota hardcore scene in the mid 90's with an emotional, metallic sound that proved to be years ahead of it's time. They released a 7" on Watermark Records in 1994 and followed that up with "Feeling Older Faster" and "Escapist", both on Doghouse Records. Threadbare also appeared on compilations such as Twin Cities Hardcore "No Slow, All Go", Ebullition Records "XXX", and the classic Anti-Matter comp. Members of Threadbare have gone on to perform and record with Snapcase, 108, The Blinding Light, The Judas Factor, and Seconds Before, among others. This will be their first show together since 1996 and will be a benefit to raise money for a memorial scholarship in honor of Stephanie Perry (sister of bassist Dustin Perry), who lost her brave fight with cancer in 2006. Story Of The Sea are opening.

as some of you may have already heard through the grapevine, one week from tongiht, 11/20/2007 snapcase will play an extremely limited show in our home town of Buffalo, NY. the show will be held at The Mohawk Place(47 East Mohawk Pace - Buffalo, NY) and doors will be at 7PM sharp. there are no pre-sale tickets...admission will be $15 at the door only(18 and over admitted with ID). it has been decided that having admission at the door only will be the most fair way to handle things for everyone involved. we're doing this not only to play once again for our friends and families in Buffalo but to further benefit the cause for Cal Robbins. donations will be accepted at the door and throughout the night. we'd hate to make pre-sale available, only to see money going to ticketmaster fees, scalpers and the like instead of going to a great cause. hopefully you all understand. thank you and hopefully we will see you there.

To Everyone:

Hey it's Jon speaking for everyone in the band. We are really excited to play these shows for the Callum Robbins benefit as well as the the release of the Anti-Matter anthology (which we are a part of). We have been having fun rehearsing since August. Everyone has been running on the treadmill and weight training since mid summer so we looked buffed on stage. The line-up will consist of Myself, Daryl, Frank, Dustin, and Tim. We are going to be playing a good mix of songs from all of our albums. If you really want to hear a particular song let us know maybe you"ll be surprised. Until next time.......... Keep it real and Git R Done....

A lot of you have been writing in since we announced the show last week, and there were two major themes to your e-mails. The first one, of course, was, "How can I get my hands on the Limited Edition Presale Package?" Glad you asked. We'll tackle that one first with this step-by-step guide to trying to score one of these very limited edition packages:

Follow this link right now. This is the page you will come back to on Friday morning for your shot at the package. On the upper right hand corner, you'll see a bit of red text that says YOUR ACCOUNT. If you do not already have an account with Music Today — the pre-sale ticket retailer that is helping us pull this off — please follow the appropriate steps so that you have your User Name and Password set up before Friday morning. This is important.

• Once you've set up your name and password, hang tight. Friday morning — despite the way you feel at work or school today — is really just around the corner.

• The Limited Edition Presale Package goes on sale Friday, September 28, at 10 AM EST. Go back to this special pre-sale link in the morning, sign in using your new User Name and Password, and start playing the refresh-your-browser game.

• Good luck!

We seriously only have 55 of these packages to put out there, but if you are one of the lucky few, it's a pretty great deal: Besides a guaranteed entry into the show on November 24, you'll also receive a hand-stamped, numbered, and personalized version of The Anti-Matter Anthology — meaning that each copy will be unique in some way — for only $29.99. That's a savings of almost $10 in retail value and additional fees you'd spend with Ticketmaster. (And, although I'm not promising anything, it's certainly early enough to throw something else inside the package before the show.) Your friends might hate you for a week — or at least until tickets for the event go on sale to the general public on October 5 through Ticketmaster — but that's the price we pay for being internet nerds.
