NEXT BATTLE IN "WAR OF THE DEAD" BEGINS
Episode 2 of "War of the Dead: Z•E•R•O" to make world premiere at Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors

FearWerx, the horror brand of genre marketer SphereWerx, announced that the second episode of its online zombie series "War of the Dead: Z•E•R•O" will have its world premiere LIVE on Sunday, July 1, 2007 at Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors.

"War of the Dead: Z•E•R•O" takes place in the near future, during the tenuous containment of a global zombie epidemic. Members of the Zombie Emergency Response Operations team (Z•E•R•O), professional anti-zombie commandos, are called to exterminate the living dead in isolated outbreaks.

The pilot premiered in March on FangoriaTV and was the webnet's most-viewed program. The pilot can now be seen on www.warofthedead.com, where episode 2 and all subsequent episodes will launch.

"We finally get to see how messy the job is," said creator/executive producer Joe Sena of SphereWerx. "The pilot introduced our four main characters, but this one's for the gorehounds…there's no shortage of the red stuff."

Focusing on Tara (Dina Cataldi), the only female on the team, this episode finds the group responding to an outbreak in an abandoned apartment building. Discovering a pregnant squatter who has been infected, the group awaits a medical unit while fighting off hordes of undead. Meantime, the pregnant squatter is dying and Tara is left with a terrible decision about the mother's fate.

The episode will be shown in its entirety at the Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors, the premiere East Coast event for fans of horror entertainment. On hand to introduce the show will be Creator/Executive Producer Joe Sena, Producer Melissa Rubin and cast members Don (Justin) Money, Andrew (Gellow) Roth, Sean (Jones) David, Dina (Tara) Cataldi, Lynn (Dr. Orchid) Mastio-Rice and guest star Devon Marie.

Cast and crew will be at the FearWerx booth in the vendor area throughout the weekend, signing autographs and selling official Z•E•R•O merchandise, including the "Zombie Outbreak Survival Kit", the novelty that started the whole Z•E•R•O concept in 2005.

Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors will take place June 29-July 1 at the Crowne Plaza Meadowlands in Secaucus, New Jersey. Tickets can be purchased through promoter Creation Entertainment at www.creationent.com.
