It's truly pathetic that this woman could be our next vice president........ In the words of Jack Cafferty "If John McCain is elected president this woman will be one 72 yr. olds heartbeat away from becoming the presdient of the United states, and if that doesn't scare the hell out of ya, it should"

Just wanted to post this link to a video clip that Jovan found showing you how Fox news has been spreading lies and propaganda about Senator Obama.  It's funny how every other major news station tries to show that their fair and balanced by having liberal and conservative's host shows on their network.........all except FOX, they don't even try to hide the fact that they are a one sided "news station".  And if you think Hannity and Colmes is supposed to be a fair balanced tv show, then say no more...........you are a dumbass

The word news should not even be used in the same sentence as FOX.  I could go on forever but I'll stop here.  If you'd like to discuss or debate w/ us about the legitimacy of FOX then send us a message.  We'd be more then happy to proove you wrong. :)

We just wanted to let ya guys know that next week the Defending CHamps will be in the studio to start recording their first EP.  As of now we're planning on doing 6-7 songs, but if things go extremely well we could ending up doing a full length.  Who knows.

Hey everyone, we just wanted to post a long overdue Thank you to the lovely Steph White.  She came in and layed down all the female vox tracks for our demo songs and performed w/ us at the Aggrolites show in Trenton.  We really appreciate it!!!

STay posted for some shows and new tunes, we were off for the month of august, but we're back now and we're gonna try to get things rollin.

The Defending Champions is a project started by myself(Matt Ryan) and Dean Nevolis....We started putting together songs for our first show and realized we need a band. Thats when new legends, Shannon Smith, Jon Cruz, and Jovan Alvarez joined the band. We also called upon another local legend, Matt "Shooby" Schonenbaum to play sax on some of our songs..... Together we are The Defending Champions of the Legend Convention.........Respect!........... We've posted three songs for you guys to check out. Two of them are live recordings from the Crossroads, they're a little hard to hear, just pump up the volume and it'll be fine. Dean and I also went into the studio before we had a full band and recorded some demo songs, keep in mind that neither of us are real drummers so go easy on us. The demo song posted right now, "Conflict" is one that I played everything on, so its not the tightest in the world.......... Now that we have a full band, we'll be writing and recording some more songs in the near future.......
