New Side Game
Continuing our series of introducing a new game for our extra Sit-n-Go tournaments, this season players will be learning a split-pot game: Double Flop Hold'em.

The game plays similar to Texas Hold'em except there will be two flops of three cards each, two turn cards and two river cards. The best hand for each board will win half the pot. If someone has the best hand for both boards they will "scoop" or win the entire pot.

Event 500
Vermont Poker League has held over 400 tournament since it's inception two years ago, event 500th will occur sometime during the first half of this season. When is it? Where is it? What will happen? It's a secret, but it will be something special.

Shawn Davis held onto a commanding chip lead through out the final two tables to win Vermont Poker League's Spring Season Tournament of Champions. Shawn defeated Scott Sabatino heads up with 90% of the chips in play.

Shawn has won a trip to Las Vegas including airfare, hotel, food and an entry to a World Series of Poker event.

This season's Tournament of Champions will be held on Sunday, March 9th at 1:00pm at Sports Legends in the Diamond Run Mall in Rutland, VT.

This looks to be the largest tournament in yet, with over 100 players qualified.

Vermont Poker League is pleased to announce our Spring Season!

Come to any of locations to play in weekly, FREE, Texas Hold'em tournaments. Have fun, meet great people and Win fabulous trips and prizes!

The Grand Prize for the Spring Season is a buy-in for ANY regular weekly tournament at Foxwoods Resort and Casino or any Atlantic City casino (Borgata, Taj Mahal, Tropicana, etc.), up to $560 PLUS one night of accommodations.

Games will be starting up the on April 12th and run until the first week of June.

Participating locations include Jilly's in Rutland, The Lakehouse in Bomoseen, and Christopher's in Ludlow.
