It's been a good while since I've done any performances, released any music, or done anything to have you all know I'm still alive and kicking. And I know I've been falling behind on LegendaryHipHop, I've just been really busy with other things so bear with me! I've got some great reviews coming up on there and some new articles that'll boggle your mind.

But more importantly, I am working on some projects right now and hopefully we'll see some releases by late August coming out:

Legendary Wizard + DJ Megalixer present... is a work in progress, a concept album revolving around the Legendary Wizard as he fights his way to save a king and defeat a warlock along with help from The Genie in the Boombox and the Spelling Bee.

Battlestations! is Legendary Wizard and AtariMatt, a team which formed first on Here Comes a New Challenger, and then returned for the sequel, HCNC2:Turbo. Now, they're working together on a full-length, to be distributed on Texas Sinkhole Records this fall.

Gotta Rhyme Sometime is an album by Legendary Wizard with guest verses from the notorious Banana (w)Rapper, a locals-only release intended for August 2009.

All titles and names are subject to change, of course. I don't know what's going to happen in the next month or so, so it's all up in the air. More importantly, look out! I'm comin' at you fast, and there's going to be some changes around here.

Current mood:  hungry
I figure it's about time for an updated blog post, since there's been a lot going on and I haven't gotten to plug everything I'm working on right now. I've moved back to Rohnert Park (I was in Davis over the summer, not getting anything done for two months), and I'm working on a lot of new music, trying to finally put together an album that's very long in the making. I've been switching up styles, trying to find a producer I can work with consistently, working to find what sounds best for me, trying to become a better lyricist, and just trying to make my music better in general.

I'm working on several projects right now:

1. I made an appearance on nYgel's most recent release Free to Good Home on a track with Whoremoans and Conyeezy called Take Your Time. You can download the track and the rest of the album here.

2. AtariMatt approached me recently and suggested that after working on the track Please Insert Coins together, we should do more tracks together. Right now we are in the pre-production stage and throwing around ideas and I've been writing some lyrics for it. I'll post more about the project as it gets worked on!

3. I'm going to be featured on two tracks on Indadiquizzy's new album, and I will be recording my verses this weekend for that. I think it's going to be wicked, and I'm really excited about Inadiquizzy releasing an album.

4. I'm still working on my album. It's been slow. I'm getting there. I think when it's done it'll be around 12 tracks, and it won't include any previously released tracks (with the exception of The Final Fight). I'm working with rapper Blazercake(s) on a lot of the tracks so he'll be probably featured on four or five tracks. I'm also looking at a couple other people for guest spots but I don't have anything solidified for that right now.

5. Last but definitely not least, I'm performing on November 15th at the CIA in North Hollywood for GameMusic4All's West Coast Wig Out! There's going to be a bunch of great acts, so you'd all better come out to this one. Also, this is my first show since the "Humboldt Disaster" at Nerdapalooza BETA, so... you guys can get all excited for performances of new tracks and all the classics! Here's a flyer for the show.
WEST COAST WIG OUT

That's all for now, but I'll be doing some more cleaning up of my profile and just working on music these days, trying to get everything in order.

WEST COAST WIG OUT

I'm performing an amazing set for this show, featuring songs with special guest Blazercake(s) and DJ Jeremy Prime. Regard this as the Return of the Wizard, since I haven't performed since the disaster at Nerdapalooza BETA last August. New songs, new styles, new clothes and a fresh batch of dopeness.

Don't miss this show! There are some great artists performing (including Zealous1, Super Barrio Bros, and many more!) The show is only $10 so there's no excuse in missing it. I'll be writing a more comprehensive blog about the show soon.
