Bloom (The Springtime Sessions) Saturday 4th April 9pm-4am Horse & Groom Curtain Road Shoreditch E1 FREE before 10pm // £5 after Kidda (Skint Records) IDC Lo-fidelity Allstars Kid Fiesta Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner DJs We can’t help getting (very) excited about our bi-monthly at the awesome Horse and Groom - our favourite venue in the heart of Shoreditch, East London; a tarted up boozer with two floors, each equipped with rather large sound systems and a 4am license to boot! This place started out as a ‘best kept secret’ but weekend after weekend the place is heaving with all-star line-ups and a fantastic, fun, no holds barred crowd pounding dem dancefloors. Our last party was rammed, with a capital Rrrrr! The bestest, loveliest people, brilliant DJs, rockin’ sets, too much fun. …so let’s do it all again!

Bloom & Another Fine Mess NYE 07/08 The Horse and Groom 28 Curtain Road Shoreditch London EC2A 3NZ 9pm - the last man stands!! £15 advanced guest list / more on the door
Bloom and Another Fine Mess team up to bring you a New Years Eve spectacular. We've chosen an intimate two floor venue nestled in the very heart of Shoreditch. The Horse and Groom is a lovely East End boozer, which has recently been fitted out with an incredible soundsystem by the same people who installed the house system at Herbal.
In the downstairs bar there'll be a slick mix of proper party tunes ranging from old school hip hop to disco funk classics, whilst upstairs things get a bit dirtier with a blend of deep jackin house and minimal blips and beeps.
DJs on the night will include: Mike Monday (OM / Freerange) Kid Fiesta (Bloom) Jozif (Just Pork / Wrong) Satisfying Noise (AFM) Cosmo Steven Alexander (Floatation, Birmingham) + more to be confirmed
We have a very late license for this special event which runs through until the next day, so this really could be quite a party!
See you there at midnight!

Official Festival Launch Party, London, Saturday 26th May>> Bloom rolls up to 93 Feet East on Bank Holiday weekend to officially launch their 3 day camping event in true festival style. The doors will be flung open especially early as Bloom host a full day of festival fun and frolics, making full use of the two rooms inside the venue and also the courtyard outside.
MAIN HALL The Main Hall will play host to an exciting display of live music from artists such as David E Sugar with his Gameboy inspired electro/pop, Shuffle's punk/dance/pop which has recently been getting Radio 1 airplay, 8 piece ska/funk act Kid ID from Leeds, and Manchester born electro maestro The English Channel. PLUS a surprise game of Bloom Bingo with fantastic festival goodie bags as prizes!
THE BAR Out front in the Bar, Bloom has invited some of their friends to supply the sounds. On the line up we have slick house music brought to you by Stuart Patterson from the legendary London Faith parties, Bristol's rising beats star Ben Westbeech (signed to Giles Peterson's label), mashed up beats from Bloom's very own Kid Fiesta & Average White DJ plus rolling drum and base from Drum Club accompanied with silky vocals from MC Lady Free. You know where the party' at!!
THE COURTYARD Out in the courtyard Secret Wars will be staging their unique graffiti battle which has been gaining notoriety in the b-boy world. The set up is 2 respected artists armed only with talent and a marker pen go head to head over 90 mins to create the best piece of graf inspired artwork they can muster. But remember this is a battle, so disses to the opposing artists are not uncommon themes! Judges and crowd choose the winner once time has run out, and this can sometimes cause controversy!
There'll also be and all day BBQ to satisfy those rumbling tums!
OTHER MAYHEM Lost&Found will be mooching round causing chaos whilst Sparkly Nuts attempt to get you dressed up and looking silly for the day! Live visuals will be brought to you across the whole space courtesy of Channel Zero and Basic Productions.
AFTER PARTY The obligatory After Part will be taking place at the Hub Club just round the corner where the party will continue until it's time to chuck it in. We're chuffed to bits to welcome a special DJ set from the Dub Pistols, whilst also on duty will be Canine Sounds with electro house and breaks, Dubious & The Bandit from Bristol based crew The Blast, Paddy Freeform from Universal Vibes and mopping up late on our very own Kid Fiesta. There'll also be visuals galore brought to you by Channel Zero and Basic Productions.

OFFICIAL BLOOM FESTIVAL LAUNCH PARTY SATURDAY 21ST APRIL 2007 CLOCKWORK :: BRISTOL
Bloom Festival is coming to Bristol this summer and are holding their 'official' Bristol Launch party at the cities newest and most exciting venue Clockwork. For those who have not been yet, this is an amazing 2 floor warehouse space with brand new kick arse Function1 sound systems in both rooms.Tonight showcases an exciting line up which will serve as a delicious taster for the festival itself.

The main room will play host to a hot mix of talent from a variety of genres:
Bugz in the Attic
Pioneers of the burgeoning Broken Beat scene, a sound favored by jazz gurus such as Gilles Peterson and 4 Hero. They can be found behind the decks of festivals all summer long. And, of course, London wonder-club Fabric have cottoned on to their dance floor jazz phatness and, as well as granting regular DJ appearances, they handed the reigns over to the Bugz for the 12th compilation in their continually excellent series of mixes. www.myspace.com/bugzintheattic Eclectic Method
If you've not seen Eclectic Method play live then you are in for a real treat, and if you have you'll know exactly what makes these guys such an amazing and unique dance act. Following in the same vein as AV pioneers Cold Cut, EM bring live Audio Visual mixing into the mainstream. What you get are over 60 music videos (by everyone from Missy Elliot to Nirvana, via 50 Cent, The Darkness and The Streets) chopped up with film and TV clips in a crazy 2ManyDJs-style mash-up fashion. A viewing experience like none you've had before! www.myspace.com/eclecticmethod Live acts on the night include up and coming Bristol based acts All Flaws and Phonetics, whilst DJ support comes from Bloom's resident DJ (and festival organiser) Kid Fiesta. www.myspace.com/allflawswww.myspace.com/phoneticsukwww.myspace.com/kidfiesta Room 2 Bloom have invited Chew the Fat! to provide the soundtrack in room two – a sound which have seen Fat! become the UK's leading force on the breakbeat scene. Fat!'s residency at The End has become an institution in London and the record label has been going from strength to strength.
Freq Nasty
He's resident DJ at Bugged Out! meets The Boutique at London's Fabric. He's a constant fixture at Boutique dates around the world and keeps floors jumping in France, Poland, Zurich, Finland, Holland, Singapore, Slovenia, even New York's Twilo. And tonight for the first time in a long time you can catch him exclusively in at Bloom in Bristol! www.freqnasty.com Tayo
Tayo is a familiar face on the breaks scene where he can safely lay claim to helping shape the nu skool sound in the late 90's alongside fellow breaksters Adam Freeland and Rennie Pilgrem, who together promoted the genre forming Friction parties at Bar Rhumba & The End. Although happy to rock any breakbeat dancefloor worldwide he also likes to indulge his wider musical taste. He was co founder of, and one of the residents at Basement Jaxx's seminal Rooty club night in south London, playing out every year on the terrace at Space Ibiza with friend Frank Tope as the Rooty DJ's, and rocking festivals from Homelands London to Creamfields Buenos Aires with his house music hat on. www.myspace.com/djtayo3000 Paul 'trouble' Arnold
Mr Chew the Fat! himself, Paul Arnold is one of the UK's most innovative and pioneering figures and is the founder and mastermind behind two of the world's most cutting edge labels, the huge Fat! Records and seminal Certificate 18. Paul's dedication to quality coupled with prophetic insights into the sounds of tomorrow has helped shape dance music as we know it today. www.thefatclub.comwww.myspace.com/paultroublearnoldwww.myspace.com/chewthefatuk Tickets for this pre-festival extravaganza are available in advance for £8 from Ticket Web, and £10 on the door.
