hello there, we've booked our ferry over for the 12th but have no show that night, if anyone wants us to play for them on their stage, in their living room, in their shed or pretty much anywhere with plug sockets then we would love to.
so long as its not too far we don't require much in the way of finances, we just want to play and meet friendly folk.
if your interested please get in touch.

Current mood: distractable
Sooo, firstly, a happy 2009 to everyone.
This year will hopefully be an interesting one for us! We plan to write/record and get someone to release our first album sometime this year. A couple of songs are already written but we've got a lot more to go! Plus we should be doing a couple of tours and the odd 1 off show here and there.
In more recent news our track 'you do me good' appears on the most recent Unlabel compilation called unununium. There are loads of good bands on there.
if you want it you can buy it from http://www.unlabel.net/un069.htm
Hope to see you sometime this year, somewhere.

evening... well this pretty reasonable review from norman records has been brought to my attention... i quite like it.. (its from this link http://www.normanrecords.com/records/103238 ... you can review it too if you really want) On to Instruments on the useful Unlabel label with the 'Make Music' CD. Felt like there were too many labels in that sentence. Here we have a mini album of math rock pop. The 5 songs on here go from here to there with careless abandon you know. It's like they don't care. Widdly guitars, syncopated drum beats, weird time signatures and the occasional shouty pop vocals spit into my ears leaving them all nice and wet. Seems pretty acomplished from what I've heard. It's quite Dischord ish but with that twiddly African pop style guitar you often get in this sort of thing. Some nice brash loud guitars in it as well. Decent release...... Without sounding like a complete knob (I may already sound like one though...) I really like the song structures as you've no idea where it's gonna go next. (From instruments (make music)) - hope everyone/ anyone reading this is well. x

Current mood: blustery
hello, ain't it nice and cold. unfortunately we've had to cancel our bristol show which is a real shame as i've never been to bristol before and the promoters seemed really nice and its supposed to be a nice town and it was going to be, and still will be i'm sure, a really good show. our ashford show with tubelord has also been canceled, i'm not entirely sure why. anyhow we only have one show left this year which i'm getting excited about already as it looks much better than christmas atp and is about £140 cheaper!!
we played our 50th show ever at the weekend up in huddersfield which was brilliant fun and involved the first crowd surfer at an instruments show, its amazing how many talented people there are playing little shows in little towns and it felt really brilliant to be part of such a special occasion. thanks to matt for putting on 18 bands in one day, all for free.
i don't think we are going to be booking shows for a while and are gonna try and write some new and hopefully more accomplished songs, record them and work on that side of things. i'm gonna try organize a proper uk tour for when the weather picks up, maybe around april, but untill then it should be nice and quiet.
hope all is peacefull and well
