Hello lovelies....

Some exciting things happening around our neck of the woods... our EP "Wake the Earth" is slowly making its way through a few site where you can buy the mp3 versions!! Right now, our EP is available on CD BABY (you can buy MP3 downloads as well as the physical copy) and now AMAZON is selling MP3 downloads! Woohoo! Getting music digitally distributed does take some time, so we're waiting on the EP to make it's way to a few more companies (including iTunes!) It shouldn't be too much longer now though... we'll let you all know!

ALSO, we are pleased to say we are writing new songs and plan on playing a couple at our upcoming show with Wesley Jensen and the Wildcats! (www.myspace.com/wesleyjensen)

We are incredibly excited for what's coming up next... and can't wait to update you again.

We love you and we are so grateful for everyone's amazing support and encouraging words. You are the most wonderful people a band could wish to be supported by.

wonderful dears,

we have created a short video of our adventures on our Teeny Tiny Tour! we had such an amazing time on this tour, and we can't wait for more. thank you so much to everyone who came to our shows... we were so blessed to meet so many of you. we love you!!!

hello!

while we are busy cooking up a video of our touring adventures, i thought i'd keep the fire alive with some photos our great friend jered scott took of us on tour... he came with us to three shows, and we were very sad to see him go... we wished he could have come along for the whole thing. but alas, he was too busy being amazing.

we, the honey trees, are about to embark on a very tiny tour of california this week... which we appropriately named "The Teeny Tiny Tour!" please, come out to any of the shows and join us! and say hi! and hang out with us! we'd love it.

hello...

to all those who were wishing to purchase our EP through cdbaby or itunes... we are sad to say that it will not be available through those by tomorrow... not sure as to when we will be selling on those... but hopefully it shall be sooner than later!

however, it will still be available through our big cartel store! so that will be the main place we will be selling right now.

again, thank you so much to everyone who has been so wonderful and encouraging... with the new songs and the coming of the EP. we're very excited for what is to come and grateful that you all are coming along with us. :)

lovebirds,

The cds are now in our possession! It's very surreal to know that all of our hard work is just sitting there, in our hands... (well, Jacob's hands for now... until I make the trek back down to San Luis Obispo and get to see them as well!) And we can't wait for you to hold and enjoy them too! But for now, a bit of news...

On Saturday, the lovely love day, (which is rather silly actually, every day should be a lovely love day...) also known as Valentine's... we will be releasing the new version of "Orchard" from our EP "Wake the Earth"... and the following Monday, we will be releasing a brand new never before heard song!! So, keep your ears tuned in and look for songs coming soon!!

Also, we have set up our Big Cartel shop! The url is thehoneytrees.bigcartel.com, and come Tuesday, the EP will be available for purchase there!! (along with CDBaby and iTunes)

my dears,

we are a mere 7 days away from the release of our first EP "Wake the Earth" and we couldn't be more excited!!! and from what i gather, a lot of you are just as excited as we are... and that makes things even better. we are so grateful for the support and encouragement you've given us, and how patient you all have been! thank you so much for everything. we love you guys!

some of you, however, have been asking where you'll be able to buy the EP... we will have it available through CDBaby, iTunes, and a new site we just found called Big Cartel.

if you notice on our new page layout, there are links to our Facebook page, our YouTube page, and come February 17th, the iTunes, and CDBaby links will be clickable, and also a new link for our Big Cartel shop.

also, a little bit of news, we are currently booking a very teeny tiny California tour, which we appropriately named "The Teeny Tiny Tour"... and if you've seen our show dates lately on our page, you'll see that we have added 5 new dates, 4 of which are a part of our Teeny Tiny Tour! we are currently working on adding two more dates to this... so a poster shall be up soon!

with our EP being released, and a teeny tiny tour coming soon... we are committed to keeping everyone updated through this blog, with videos and pictures and words of our adventures... so please stay tuned to this blog, for soon-coming treats and surprises!
