And our reply:

Sick Promotions, inc. is in the process of building a ridiculously huge street team for ourselves and the bands we book and work with.
Being musicians for the past 15 years in bands, we know the hard work that must be done in order get your bands name out there. Our bands have toured both Canada and the U.S several times collectively within a few years period. In that time, a lot of contacts were made w/people that wanted to help us out, with our promotions. We kept those contacts and now we are able to utilize them once again. We are going to start up by making 150,000 www.sickpromotions.com cards (once the site is up, running and launched) which the cards/fliers will be handed out all over the place, everywhere From Spain to Florida. We are compiling a huge list of street team promoters in major cities and states, through venues and bars, large and small. These promoters will hand out our Cards at shows/tattoo shops/head shops/piercing shops/clothing stores/hot topics/Cd stores/vinyl record stores/Etc...

This will enable us to get bands names out there that we book/promote and will allow us to have the list of venues that we work with keep growing.

In Return, as a thanks and incentive...our promoters get free merchandise including: cds, t-shirts, free admission to shows and possibly getting to meet their favorite bands, take photos, do interviews, whatever they want and whatever we can arrange as per their request.

We are forming relationships with Venues/bars/clubs to make this all happen. We are offering Venues free Advertisement forever on our website (that will be promoted everywhere) and also free help (street team work) for them. If the venue would like our sick promoters to hand out some fliers for their venue, which if they choose we will make the necessary arrangements. And all we'll ask in return is a few passes for shows and press passes for our hard workers...and of course gigs for bands we work with.  In return we will also hook up bands that other promoters/venues work with with show/gigs at our venues that WE run!

Some people have a misconception that we only want to do metal but this is not true. Sick promotions will also be at a lot of festivals handing out fliers and maintaining our own booth. This is also an advantage, so bands don't have to buy booths (they are really expensive at fests) and if you are a sick promotions client we will sell your CD's and merchandise for you at these fests.
