Bodyboard Coaching Weekends - All Systems Go For Summer!

With the water warming up and the spring swells pulsing through, it's time to sharpen up your bodyboarding skills for summer. As well as running daily lessons, Rob Barber's Bodyboarding School is offering a series of bodyboard coaching weekends this summer, the first is on June 2/3 and the second on July 7/8.

The weekends offer coaching for all ability levels, with riders split in to separate groups. The events are being held at Rob Barber's Bodyboarding School on Headland Road Newquay, the coaching will be held at either Newquay Bay or Fistral Beach.

The weekends include four coaching sessions, a video analysis session, a goodie bag from the event sponsors and a presentation about bodyboarding technique and fitness. Each rider gets a CD with footage of themselves in action and also the opportunity to buy professional photography of themselves in action. Coaches for the weekend are all include British team coaches Rob Barber and Glenn Eldridge and Australian pro Aidan Salmon.

If you haven't tried bodyboarding before this is the perfect opportunity to give it a go, we guarantee that you will be catching un broken waves on your own by the end of the weekend, a skill that usually takes over 6 months to perfect. If you can bodyboard already and you want to perfect a specific area, learn some new moves or generally take your whole standard to a higher level then this is the course for you. The June course will have no more that 20 riders taking part, so places are limited. On May 12/13 and October 13/14 ThreeSixty Magazine are teaming up with Rob Barber's Bodyboarding School to offer Youth Development Coaching Clinics at Fistral Beach in Newquay, Cornwall.
Coaching will come from some of Britain's top competitors and instructors and one of ThreeSixty's top lensmen will be on hand to shoot the action, supplying each grom with a sponsorship portfolio containing two shots to approach sponsors with.

Protest are sponsoring the first weekend and are offering a sponsorship deal for the most promising talent.
