Greetings everyone!  It has been a very busy fall season with many blessings as well as many trials.  God is good!

I'm looking forward more than usual to the holiday season, and a time of rest before the spring festivals.

Hananeel Ministries is starting to do some video production and I have a rough cut of a video made in my home for the Hanukkah season.  The video features Marion (a.k.a. "Malkah") who is a dear friend and member of our ministry team.  The video was taped in my house and Malkah is joined by my grandbabies, Michelle, and Jessica.  My husband Tom, my son Jason, and I also make brief cameos when it came time to eat up the yummy Latkes : )

For some reason MySpace is treating the link below as "Spam" or "Phishing" or something.  We have attempted to communicate with MySpace about this matter but all we get are stock replies not generated by humans.  Grrrrrr.  There is nothing wrong with this link and we are sorry if you tried to go there and got frightened by the MySpace warning.  Anyvays... if you want the free ringtones for Purim go to www.myxertones.com and search for Sharon Huckel.  Or just cut and paste this text into your browser...

Some exciting updates on our annual Purim celebrations and the song, "Such a Time as This"...

Song Covered by "Prince of West Coast Klezmer" - Recorded by Gustavo Bulgach, founder of Klezmer Juice.  You can hear this amazing rendition of the song right now on MySpace.

Free Ringtones - Visit
www.myxertones.com/artist/4363/ to download a free ringtone of "Such a Time..." and you can also download a fun out-take with just Groggers and Shofar!

Free CD for Worship Leaders - Visit the MySpace blog for details.  We are encouraging the use of "Such a Time..." in celebration of Purim and we are especially challenging mainstream Christian congregations to join Purim celebrations to express their love and support for the Jewish people and Israel.

Fun Idea! - make a video of your own performance of "Such a Time..." and we’ll link to it on MySpace.  We’ve posted a guitar performance by Bill of the song to help you learn the song (see Sharon’s blog or
www.YouTube.com/hananeel2)

We would love to hear from you!  Happy Purim!

Ok, one of these days we'll do this "proper" and post a real video of Sharon singing the Purim song, "Such a Time as This".  But I have a new laptop with a video camera so I've posted a vid to YouTube of me playing the song on guitar that may help out those who are trying to learn the song in time for Purim.

If you post a video of you or your worship team singing and/or playing the song I'll post a link to it on Sharon's site here.

Enjoy!  Happy Purim!

And for those less musically inclined that want to enjoy a fun and cute child's perspective on Purim... I give "Horrible Horrible Haman"...

NOTE: I removed the embedded link at the request of the father of the child.  If you want to view the video you can see it here...  the family are not Messianic Jews and the only reason we posted it is because the daughter's song was so cute.  We intended no offense to anyone.

Purim is fast approaching - March 21 - 23!

Sharon Huckel and Hananeel Minsitries ask you to join us in celebrating Purim!  In honor of this holiday we will be making special offers over the next several weeks related to this joyful feast.

For those who don't know about Purim, it is the Jewish Feast celebrating the story of Esther and the deliverance of the Jewish people from the plans of the evil Haman to annihilate the Jews of Persia. Purim is a fun celebration traditionally celebrated with noisemakers called "Groggers", funny skits and plays, gift giving and the telling of the story of the Biblical book of Esther (the "whole Megillah!").

Purim is a wonderful holiday that celebrates God's divine hand in world events and challenges us to take a stand against evil.  It is a joyful holiday but also serves as a somber reminder that persecution of the Jewish people is not a modern invention.  We believe that Purim is a tremendous opportunity for gentile followers of Messiah to express their love and support for Israel and their Jewish friends and neighbors.

The Courts of Praise CD includes a song about the story of Esther and Purim, "Such A Time As This", and we want to make the song available for worship leaders, Pastors, Messianic Congregations, Sunday School teachers, Synagogues, Bible studies, Christian Schools.... you name it!

FREE Courts of Praise CD

For: Worship leaders, teachers, Pastors, musicians, Rabbis, Bible Study leaders, Synagogues... any person or organization who is interested in observing Purim and incorporating the use of the Purim song, "Such A Time As This" from Sharon's Courts of Praise CD.

Please visit http://www.hananeel.com/PurimSong.htm to submit your request.  And yes, it really is free : )  You will also be able to download a copy of the lyrics and chords so you can learn the song if you want to perform it yourself.

In addition we will soon be posting a free Grogger tone on MySpace, a special instrumental recording of the "Such A Time As This" from a famous klezmer artist, and much more!

Grace and Shalom!

Some Details on the CDs...
Courts of Praise - "Courts of Praise" is a delightful blend of modern worship and praise music with Sharon's classic Jewish flair. The CD also includes a selection of outstanding covers and standards, including Melody Green's Messianic worship favorite, "There is a Redeemer", and a Celtic/folk take on the classic hymn, "Take My Life". Cuts from "Courts of Praise" are receiving airplay on the South Jersey-based Christian radio station Hope 90.5 FM and world-wide on various internet radio stations, including Israel based radio station www.InspiredFaith.org

Tabernacle - "Tabernacle" continues Sharon Huckel's classic blend of Jewish folk and inspirational ballads. The triumphantly joyful klezmer (Jewish folk) of "My Soul Waits for the Lord", "As for Me", and "Zion!" are instant classics from Messianic songwriter Steffi Rubin that will delight lovers of Davidic worship. Sharon shows her range in the tenderly delivered ballads "Rest in Yeshua", "House of Prayer", and "Your Face". "Tabernacle" explores themes of seeking and dwelling in the presence of the Lord and closes with the Sukkot-themed title track.

For Zion's Sake - A Messianic classic from Sharon Huckel that features two duets with Paul Wilbur, musical backing from Israel's Hope, and songs from Messianic worship songwriter Steffi Rubin (author of "The Trees of the Field"). Described by MessianicMusic.com as "One of the Messianic Movement's finest", Sharon Huckel has been blessed with a voice that has touched many. "For Zion's Sake" is a classic that features two duets with international recording artist Paul Wilbur, musical back from seminal Messianic band, Israel's Hope, and eight songs from acclaimed songwriter Steffi Rubin, author of the worship classic, "The Trees of the Field".

Send a Free CD to a friend!

Special Gift from Sharon Huckel and Hananeel Ministries exclusively for our MySpace friends

During these "Days of Awe" between the Feast of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement it is traditional for the Jewish people to perform "Tzedakah" (good deeds/charity). If you know someone who needs a special blessing during this time we would like to send them a free copy of the new CD, "Courts of Praise". Or maybe that person in need of a blessing is you - and that is ok too. : )

Please provide us a mailing address (P.O. Box is fine) and let us know if when we ship the CD if you would like us to send it "anonymously" or to mention you. Please note that we will not add the receiving address to our mailing list!

We will accept requests thru the end of next week (September 22, 2007).  Please send a message thru the MySpace site with your details.

Of course you are always welcome to support us by purchasing a CD as well, but we feel led to make this offer.

Is there someone out there that you know who could use a blessing? Please pass along your request (limit 1 per person).

Grace and Shalom!

I just want to express my thanks to everyone for their prayers and encouragement.  You have been a true blessing to me and I appreciate your thoughts.    Thank you for prayers - they are working!  I was able to sing this past Sunday and I had the opportunity to share with a Jewish man who doesn't yet believe in Yeshua.  Please pray for Robert "G".  Prayer is powerful!

"Our soul wainteth for the Lord He is our help and our Shield.  For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His holy name.  Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in Thee. - Psalm 33: 20 -22

Love ya!

Another internet radio station, based in Israel, is now giving "Courts of Praise", "Tabernacle", and "For Zion's Sake", regular airplay.

Check it out at www.inspiredfaith.org for a real blessing.

The station has a strong ministry focus and features a broad mix of musical styles, from traditional Messianic to praise and worship genres.  Check the links on the left side of their home page for streaming radio links and a "Now Playing" page that shows information about songs recently played.  This is a great feature as it enables you to visit the artist's home page and purchase recordings.  The mix of music is, well, "inspired"... a recent morning play list included songs by Paul Wilbur, Chris Nesbitt, Elisheva Shomron, Keith Green, and "yours truly".

InspiredFaith.org is led by Paul Sherbow, director of Come to Zion Ministries and Inspired Faith Broadcasting.  Paul displays a heart for Israel and a fervor to share Good News of Messiah with the world.

Last but not least : )  you can create a login and then request music you would like to hear.
