Open call to all artists: David McCallum Interview

Coming up in volume 2; issue 5, we're extra-super proud to present an interview with the fantastic David McCallum,  star of 'The Man from UNCLE', 'Sapphire & Steel', 'The Invisible Man', 'NCIS', 'The Outer Limits', and I could go on and on.

To go with the feature, we're  getting as many artists as we can to illustrate David, just like  we've done with Bruce Campbell and Adam West in the past, and the best  ones will be featured in the magazine alongside the interview.

All submissions can be sent to subs@dangerousink.co.uk, and if the file is big, please use www.yousendit.com

We've finally converted our lovely back catalogue into online page-turning digi-mags, so now you can see the articles, interviews, galleries, and comic strips the way they should be, and absolutely free!

Just go to the Dangerous Ink homepage and click on the buttons on the left.

All the best!

Tom

p.s

Stay tuned for details of our art auction starting July 11th on eBay.
You could bid on an original Chet Zar and Leslie Ditto for as little as 99c!

Current mood:  adventurous

Hi everyone,

So sorry for the lack of blog updates!  It's been shameful the amountof time since the last one, but don't worry, that'll all change in 2009.

Right; where to start?

Did you see the site revamp over at www.dangerousink.co.uk?
Updatedwith lots of content from the past issues. If you'd rather see themagazine itself, there's a continually-updated list of our fabulous stockists here.

Rather see the magazine in digital form? No problem.
If you go here, you can download the first three issues for free and email them to your mates. No DRM or any of that garbage.

Still hungry for more?
Well, lick your lips at this! The Dangerous Ink Gallery is launching in February, and all the people that befriend it will getan advance look at any of the new artworks before they hit the site, and it's only available to our MySpace friends.

We'll have exclusive prints from lots of your favourite Dangerous Ink artists, such as Dave Chung, Mark Stafford, Kreepy Kat, and Frank Quitely.

All the best,

Tom and the Dangerous Ink Team

Current mood:Stuffed like a turkey

Hey everyone,

In keeping with our tecno-savvy tendencies, issue 2 is now available as a digi-mag, just like issue 1.

Obviously, since it's the current issue, there is a teensy-weensy download fee ($2.99) which is still half the cover price, for those of you that can't wait to grab a hard copy.

You can download issue 2 from here.  It's 15 megs and an .exe file (sorry again Mac users)

All the best!

Tom and the Dangerous Ink Team.

Hey Everyone,

For those of you that didn't manage to catch issue one in the shops (we sold out!), we've computerised the whole thing Tron-style, and it's now a free to download digimag.

Digimag Link

It's an exe file (17.44meg), so sorry to any mac users out there.  But hey, you can still download a Windows emulator and run it through that.

Enjoy!
