Current mood: touched
Yep, yep kiddies, for the Oriental Jazz-Funk Session, as the title implies, had the opportunity to air some of the funky Bollywood, Turkish and Ethiopian tunes from my collection. Desa had never heard most of these records lot alone mix any of them. He was a little skeptical about mixing 'em but came through and rocked it like a champ.
This was on some raw, live, shotgun mixing(as it should be) which turned out to be one our most fun and exhilarating shows on Wired. Desa, himself, would admit he's not the smothest mixer but will always mess with any music at any tempo. Big ups to him and respect to everyone who tuned in to listen to it. To those that didnt I present it now for your listening pleasure. Dum Maro Dum. Iron Halo
