Current mood:  accomplished
Category: Blogging

The street in Halifax are swarming with a new batch of university students and the crispness in the air tells me that fall is definitely here.
We had a great summer, played a ton of shows, even made it back to NFLD finally!(we wont wait a couple years before going back we promise!)
So whats up now?

We have been Nominated for 3 Nova Scotia Music awards! The EP (Confessions of a Toxic Generation) is up for Loud recording (It does sound great turned up) and Group recording. The Video for Nursery Crimes is also in the running for an award.

Cone McCaslin (Sum41, Operation MD and co-producer on our EP) posted on his Blog about it here
http://blogs.myspace.com/conemccaslin
Maybe we can get Cone to Yarmouth in November for Nova Scotia music week to party with all us Nova Scotians!
You should add him to your friend list, not only is he a great dude but he has impeccable taste in music. I'm stoked to hear the new Operation MD album!

We have a couple shows in New Brunswick at the end of the month, in Fredericton with sexy Jagerettes and Moncton with the infamous Iron Giant. Looking forward to the fucking mess of rock and booze that's about to happen there. Other than that we are had at work in our studio, writing for the new full length that we will be recording over the winter and releasing early 2010. More details to come about that.

So I have captured a boat load of video from the spring/summer that I will be posting on our myspace over the next little while so keep a keen eye.

Its Friday and I'm off to spend some quality time with my love, Miss Harley Davidson. Keep rocking and well see you soon at a show.
Peace
Mike

P.S. Its September 11th and I want to say we should celebrate life today, you never know when your Government will start a war by flying planes into the building where you work.

Shelter with Thieves -
We are living in a world and that is controlled by thieves. We are held down,or forced to be creatively sheltered by Money/Power hungry corporations  and governments who care not for the bettering of society, rather focus on keeping everyone in a constant fearful state of work ,spend and consume. There is no benefit to the human race. We live in a world where we are brainwashed  and forced to believe that it is perfectly lawful to steal our rights as humans to enjoy the planet and enjoy the creativity of our lives. These thieves take away our right to live the way we want. And we have no choice but to take shelter with them. We are slaves to someones idea of society based on greed and overindulgence.
