OMG! DSL Hell!

I am up at my in-laws and, boy, the computer connection is lousy! I am so used to broadband access, going to DSL is like trying to walk fast in flood water. I am trying so hard to work and it is soooo sloooooow. I'm dying here. I look forward to going home tomorrow and literally getting back up to speed. In pain anyway, so I'm probably not going to get much accomplished. Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow.

Got the freebies out right on time like a good little girl, pausing briefly to watch some "Dead Like Me" episodes to take a pain break. The sciatica seems to ike to travel. Yesterday the agony was in my hip. Today, it's my right knee. I am finally sleeping at night on a regular basis. It has changed my mood to a remarkably chipper mood, much to my husband's chagrin. Monday is the first day of Pain Management for my arthritis and especially for the sciatica. Yay! We will see how that goes. Well, this is a log for users on my website to let you know what is going on, so I might as well start letting you in on everything.

You will notice a lot more advertising on the site. I'm sorry, but it is a necessary evil. The revenue from these ads mean I can make more free patterns. You will also notice multiple displays of my art on Cafe Press and Zazzle. Without the revenue from these two site, I would have had to shut down the website a long time ago. Money is very tight and we are reduced to eating a lot of peanut butter and a lot of frozen burritos. The cats, well they are doing just fine. I think being a cat must be a great life.

I am working on converting the cross stitch patterns to pdf files. If you download a zip file, just e-mail me at danskmermaid@aol.com and I will send you the pdf as quickly as I get the e-mail. I am trying to convert the freebies first, then the patterns that have a price. There will be a price change. All priced patterns will be standardized to $1.50. This is a price increase for many, but it also a price reduction for many many more. I have a PayPay fee taken out of each sale. The patterns priced under $1.50 were leaving me with a small amount of change after PayPal took their share. I will make up for it be posting many more freebies. I promise.
