Current mood:  inspired

Ultimate Blood Drive II Winner-Tito Ortiz may be known as "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy,?
but much of his time and energy outside the fighting arena, is dedicated to charitable
activities.

During the 2007 Labor Day Holiday, through the Ultimate Blood Drive II, Tito Ortiz helped
United Blood Services, knock out the traditional decline in donations. Ortiz challenged
his fans to step up and save lives, ?some fans look up to me as a hero, but here's a
chance for everyone to be real heroes and save lives.?  Ortiz signed on as host of the
"Ultimate Blood Drive II" on Sunday, September 2, 2007 at Glendale Community College.

All donors who joined his fight to save lives, met Ortiz and received a personalized
autographed photo of the champ.  Participants were entered into drawings to win apparel,
from his Punishment Athletics clothing line and a limited edition lithograph photograph.
One ultimate donor won lunch with Ortiz in appreciation for joining his crusade!

The ultimate donor lunch winner was Christopher Rennie of Glendale, Arizona. The luncheon
took place Sunday, February 10, 2008 at Tommy Bahamas Restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Spending the afternoon having lunch with the champ, ?Tito Ortiz? was a special event for
Rennie, who is in the United States Army. Rennie was being deployed to Iraq later that
Sunday evening. The special meal and conversation with Ortiz, was a great send off for
Rennie, in lieu of family who are in Pittsburgh.

The luncheon party included:

Tito Ortiz, Mixed Martial Arts Champ,

Kristin Ortiz, President, Punishment Athletics Enterprises, Inc.

Carla Fields, Director of Donor Recruitment, United Blood Services

Jeanette Nicely, Donor Recruitment Manager, United Blood Services

Congratulations Christopher Rennie for winning! Our deepest gratitude for saving lives in
Arizona and Iraq, go out to you! Chris is truly a champ and hero, not only for being a
regular blood donor, but for supporting our country by putting himself in harms way for
all of us.
