Hello everyone,
It's been so long since my last update...I hope all of you have been well. Things have been busy and eventful for me over the last year or so. I have learned a lot about myself, about life and about what really mattters. I have also met so many wondeful people and travelled more than I ever have in a very short period of time..... Here's what I've been up to...
Last spring (2008)
I began writing and recording my second album and first alt country/pop EP "Heart & Soul" along with my wonderful husband and co-writer. I was fortunate enough to connect with yet another talented indie producer Carl Jennings who did a wonderful job and contributing greatly to my new "alt-country" sound.
At the end of November (2008) I released my first single "Addicted 2U" to Canadian country radio station and began my Canadian radio tour with Jeff. We began in Vancouver and made our way (my car) all the way to Winnipeg! Along our way, we met some really wonderful radio people who were very supportive of our independent release.
In January (2009) we travelled out east and completed our radio tour. By March 2009 I reached #10 Canadian country female artist on the Trax Report!!
March (2009) I went to LA and Nashville where I attended the NSAI Spring workshop and co-wrote a song with Larry Wayne Clark
In June 2009 Heart & Soul was officially released
In June I was fortunate enough to perform at the Burlington Sound of Music Festival where I opened for the Wilkinsons as well as the Oakville Waterfront Festival where I opened for Murray Mclaughlin.
I took some time over the summer to spend time with my family and enjoyed every moment.
September 2009 I went to Vancouver to attend the CCMA's
October 2009 found out that my EP Heart & Soul is nominated for a Hamilton Music Award for Country Recording of the Year
November 2009 Gasoline which I co-wrote with Steve Fox won 2nd place for the IAC's country songwriting contest.
Phew!
I am currently writing at home and saving up to record my next album!! Please purchase Heart & Soul on this site or on iTunes so I can begin my next musical adventure!!

Hey all,
I'm just back from Nashville where I attened the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) "Spring Training" and also had the opportunity to catch a few Tin Pan South shows. I was lucky enough to catch Godie Sampson at the Bluebird where he sang many of his songs including "Jesus Take The Wheel"! I also attened an Amy Grant show and was lucky enough to hear her husband Vince Gill sing one of my favorite songs "What You Give Away". If you haven't heard it yet just go to my top friends and click on Vince Gill's link.
My next single Gasoline which was co-written by Steve Fox is being released to Canadian country radio today! Keep an ear out for it on your local stations.

Hello.. to all my friends and fans (old and new alike..)
I want to thank everyone for all your support over the years. Sometimes it can be very discouraging taking the independent route but your kind words have always cheered me up and let me know that what I am doing is not in vain.
As many of you may have notic..ed, over the past few years my musical style.. has changed quite a bit. I have finally found. a place where I feel at home.
A more rootsy, bluesey, acoustic, country feel is where.I have found my niche I am very proud of my first album. "Alive" as well as the great work my produ..cer and frien..d Jeff Eden did to make it sound so amazi.ng! But I am now moving forwa.rd on a new road with my music and I'm therefore discontinuing the sale of "Alive". There.. are 3 copies left at the link below and it will be available at itunes for the next little while After that time, ".Alive" will be but a memory.
I truely hope that you will all conti..nue to stay with me on my new journey!! My new EP Heart & Soul produced by Carl Jennings will be released this sprin..g 2009.

Hey all, I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday and Happy New Year. Please be safe and drive carefully! I hope this new year bring great things for all of us and I look forward to many more years of creating songs that will carry you through the good and not so good times! I have put up a song I wrote 3 years ago for you to download called "Look to the Sun". It's a song about hope and was written about the Tsunami disaster and any other despair people go through. Always remember that no matter how dark things may seems in life, that the light always find a way to shine through and give you hope.
