Hey what's up everyone.  There hasn't been an update to our blog here in a long time so here's what's been going at Willowtip:

* Killer releases.  New MAGRUDERGRIND, ULCERATE, AFGRUND, a debut from FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE, a recap from DEFEATIST, and soon, the new masterpiece from GOROD.  

* A new signing: DEFEATED SANITY.  We'll be putting out the new Defeated Sanity release, Chapters Of Repugnance late this year or early 2010.
-----And for all you DISGORGE fans, AJ Magana will be handling vocal duties on the recording of the new album.------

* We've got a bunch of Tshirts available at our online store.  Have a looksie.

* The Willowtip/Neurotic partnership continues!  Three Neurotic releases will soon see the light of day in the US.  PROSTITUTE DISFIGUREMENT's Left In Grisly Fashion plus VISCERAL BLEEDING's Remnants Revived and Transcend Into Ferocity will be released via Willowtip later in 2009.

Willowtip is extremely proud to announce the signing of Washington, D.C.'s MAGRUDERGRIND. The band is set to enter Godcity Studios in early January to record their Willowtip debut with famed engineer Kurt Ballou (Converge, Misery Index, Torche). The recording will mastered at Visceral Sound by Scott Hull (Pig Destroyer, Phobia, Maruta).

Immediately following the recording of the new album, MAGRUDERGRIND will head out on a European tour. The dates are as follows:

Swedish grindcore trio AFGRUND have officially signed with Willowtip Records. The label will release the band's second full-length, Vid Helvetets Grindar (At The Gates Of Hell), in 2009.

AFGRUND will tour Europe in July 2009 and have secured a slot on the Obscene Extreme Festival in the Czech Republic.

Willowtip Records has officially signed Rome, Italy group FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE. Previously signed to Neurotic Records, the band is set to release it's debut album Oracles via Willowtip in 2009. Featuring current members of Hour Of Penance, FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE play death metal with a "classical" approach; inspired by Cannibal Corpse and Suffocation, and infuenced by J.S. Bach and L. Van Beethoven.
