It was this ability to turn a track inside out, using whatever tools were at his finger-tips, that first caught the attention of the Pioneer Pro DJ product development team. He began DJing in the late 90s upon the discovery of Psy-Trance & Techno. By chance in 2004 he was offered his first residency in South West France during a summer living as a surf bum. For the next three years he stayed in France; Surfing, Snowboarding, and rocking parties from sea level to the mountain tops. A return to the UK in 2007 saw Ben enter the 2007 D Joust competition. From over 400 entrants, he went on to win the competition, knocking out some well know names en route with his underground beats and technical scratching. Since the Joust, he’s gone on to play a variety of venues such as Ministry Of Sound, Motion Sk8 Park, Timbuktu, Herbal, Babaloo, and Dusk Til Dawn.

We are also running an international Dj and Mc competition through ASR, in assoc with Random Concept with the final top 3 Djs and Mcs playing at Ocean Bar Leamington Spa February 27th 2009. One winning Dj and one winning Mc will then go through to play at the Global Energy Pontins Weekender 20th - 23rd March 2009 Camber Sands, and also win a years residency with the Random Concept academy. So there is a serious lack of female input and drum n bass Dj representation on the DJMAG top 100 list. This is the worlds top Djs, head to head in a top 100 list.

In the 2007 poll, no women were voted until 83rd place. The top 100 list consisted of 2 women.... it's just not good enough people, come on boys it's a complete sausage fest out there!! Only 2 drum and bass dj's were represented in the whole list, Andy C and Hype Hype Hype!!!
Come on people.. we got to do better than that!

Following our first drum and bass event at Demand Nightclub in March, we return TONIGHT Saturday 31st May, with warmer weather! A big thank you to everyone who turned out and supported hard our last event, a very busy weekend over all in Cov, and with a free 5000 + 1xtra event on the same night as us, we all think getting 300 + in to Demand wasnt bad at all.
PHOTOS FROM OUR LAST EVENT CLICK HEREA huge thank you also to the artists who trecked it down / up and played wicked sets... always good to see a full dancefloor right to the end of a night. This time round we are bringing you another hard hitting Mc line up for May, with some of our favourite Djs and Mcs that have graced our events in Gloucester, Leamington and Coventry over the last few years... and we have finally got round to booking Benny Page, who you will all agree is making some serious moves internationally right now!
