Ok, here is the first official writing accounting.
1287 words.
Not great, but not skimpy either. And, the important part, is that it isn't crap.

So, have you ever had a doctor tell you to cut out starches and red meat for your own health? I have. It sucks. I can get by without the red meat. I can get by without potatoes, noodles, rice, and beans. BUT... I need bread.
Yes, I'm a bread lover. Bread is good. It's so versitile, too.
But no. I cannot have it, unless I cheat, and I find myself doing that lately. This diet has been going on for four months now and I see no end in site. I've lost a little weight, but nothing like The Biggest Loser, since I don't exercise.
With the bike in the shop getting the tires changed and a tune up, I'm sitting here critiquing a buddy's story and working on my WIP.
I'm trying to change, again, and write every day. It's not easy, with my busy schedule, but I'm going to try to maintain it for at least 21 days. By then, it should be habit. What do you think? Should we count this as Day 1?
I'll post the words written at the end of the day (or at the latest, tomorrow morning before I start Day 2). Gotta be accountable for my actions and this is one way, I hope, to do this.
All right. Going to write now.

Yes, its that time again when the buttheads want your bank account numbers so they can "put money in your account" all for the love of you. So, I got this email from "The INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE" That said... *** After the last annual calculations of your fiscal activity we have determined that you are eligible to receive a Stimulus Payment. Please submit the Stimulus Payment Online Form in order to process it.
A Stimulus Payment can be delayed for a variety of reasons. For example submitting invalid records or applying after the deadline.
To submit your Stimulus Payment form, please download the document attached to your email.
Note: If filing or preparation fees were deducted from your 2008 Refund or you received a refund anticipation loan, you will be receiving a check instead of a direct deposit.
Regards, Internal Revenue Service
*** Now, lemme tell ya, I did NOT fill out the attached form that, I'm sure wants bank account info. If you get one, don't answer. I know you're smarter than that, but due to the time of year for Americans, sometimes we do stuff we know later is WRONG!, not to mention pretty dumb. This is my heads up.

So, I'm writing... Well, not exactly at this very second, but I have been writing. Started following a writing guru that says 10 minutes at a time will do wonders and it is. Thank goodness.
Anyway, homework still sucks, which is what I'm working on now, but I've got a bit of a major FUp. I was reading a great story this morning before class and my coffee decided to get a much closer view of the book.
Yup, coffee on the keyboard of my laptop. AUGGGGHHHH!!!
Now, I'm having difficulty making the L key and the backspace working. (I'm on the school computer now). I will have to mess with them when I get home. Wish me luck.
if you see any emails with missing "L"'s or a bunch of extraneous letters at the end of an email... well, now you know what it was. Good thing I've got an external usb keyboard just in case.

School and working... always...
But, on occasion, I will take the time to stuff my face. My two top favs are (and NO, I'm not endorsing anything, these are personal preferences) Snickers and Reese's cups.
This evening is one of those times. The red sea smacked me in the abdomen and darned if I didn't need a fix.
YUM!
So, I got to thinking as I was sucking the remaining chocolate off the black paper of the Reese's cup I'd just finished devouring. Here is what I thought.
Flavored paper.
You know you scrape the chocolate off that paper, admit it... sadly, it doesn't taste as good as the cup. So, you are left with a chocolaty papery taste.
Flavored paper would eliminate the residual, just been sucking on paper, taste.
But, until they actually get around to my idea, I guess I'll just have to kill the taste with...
You guessed it...
Another Reese's cup.
:)

Another semester in the bag. Great. I'm glad.
I won't know the final grades for at least another 36 hours, so I sit here, biding my time and opening my manuscript. I've got two weeks of no school to get as much done as possible. Wish me luck.

Taking a little break from doing homework and writing to say that classmates.com really works.
I've actually gotten in touch with 3 old friends and one guy who thinks he knows me but since there is no pic on his site and my memory does not include his name in the sketchy data banks, well, I have to wait and see...
The first half of the visit from hubby's brother and our nieces went well, and they will be in Florida for the week. Of course, they will be back for the whole of the following week, which smacks right in the week for studying for finals, but heck... I can hide out in my room while hubby entertains them.
That's the goal anyway.
One last thing. Ironing sucks. I'm sure I've mentioned it before, but it really, really does suck. I need to get rich so I can take the ironing down to the cleaners and someone else can do that sucky job.
That's it. I'm going back to the homework so I can get in some quality writing time.

So, I've been doing lots of stuff as usual, but today I did something super special. Updated my Classmates.com site. LOL. No, Bryce isn't the name I used on there, but heck, I don't want to shock my poor, innocent classmates with what I do. BUT, if they ask, OH HECK YEAH, baby I write sex. Hot, melt your chocolate sex.
Yuppers.
That's what I did today.
That and work on the WIP. Always working on the WIP.

Yes, as usual, I've been busy, busy, busy. Working on TS4, school, ect. Who knew how fast laundry could pile up?
Anyway, I found out I'm not an artist. LOL. I'm trying to draw bones and their processes so I can learn them. Boy, I can barely descern my own art. I suppose I could take some art classes...
Oh, I have been invited to do a short m/m for an anthology with some big m/m author names. I'm really, super, fantabulously excited to be doing this. I've got an idea, just need to write it. Thank goodness it's a short.
And, the motorcycle is taking up lots of time. Yeah, like I could quit going for rides with the hubby, but it ain't gonna happen. I like doing it and it is a great stress reliever. That's a good thing since school and writing is very stressful.
Ok, that's it, I guess except one last thing.
This past week I got old. I'm now 41 years of age... sigh.

So, the hubby and I have leather vests for our motorcycle. We noticed something recently. They are naked vests. No patches. sigh.
I've spent a few minutes every day since then looking for the perfect patch to put on our vests. A nice big one for the back.
Since our helmets are the US flag and our bike is blue and silver, hubby was thinking the US flag with an eagle.
Sounds great, right? (well, sounds great if you are a patriotic American. Other countries would think it was less great, I'm sure).
One big problem. Hubby and I are very little alike. What I like, he doesn't and vice-versa. I'm looking at these patches and thinking, "Nope, not me." Or "Nope, not hubby." None say Brenda And Hubby in big embroidery thread.
I'm going to go nuts... My buddy J.L. Langley suggested I draw one out that does depict us. Yeah... I am such a great artist that the final product would look like a crookedly sewn flag with an anorexic cow with boat sails for wings...
Well, keep your eyes peeled for the anorexic flying cow. Who knows, it might take off.
I've got to get back to work now. 2000 words so far today, but so many more to add to the manuscript.
