COMPANY :: THE BASEMENT LOUNGE (Larimer Square Ally basement level of MARTINI RANCH, Denver).

FRAUD :: Writing bad checks with no intent to cover them or pay them back.

I felt compelled to bring this issue to public attention in hopes that they will not do this to another unsespecting DJ or Entertainer while taking money from honest patrons.

If you are a DJ, Dancer, Promoter, Host, Entertainer, etc. Please be warned that "THE BASEMENT" is doing business illegally by writing bad checks and not making any attempts to cover the returned checks and corrosponding fees. This is considered "check fraud" and punishable by criminal prosecution by the District Attorney. Charges have officially been filed but I felt that I need to alert my friends in the business and those who go out as patrons who follow the rules.

I have been sitting on this for several months allowing Daniel Seelbinder (part owner, manager) & THE BASEMENT to rectify their debt to me. After several personal & civilized attempts to collect without success, I have had no choice but to press full charges. Since I received a bad check directly from the Basement & another bad check directly from Daniel Seelbinder, they will both be charged seperately.

If you have had a similar experience with Daniel or THE BASEMENT. please let it be known.

They should not be allowed to continue doing business in this manner. Please do not confuse "THE BASEMENT" lounge which is located directly under MARTINI RANCH as the same respectable establishment as MARTINI RANCH. In fact, the 2 are completely seperate from each other.

To anyone who disputes the truth in this newsletter, I can provide copies of both returned checks along with all written corrospondence in regards to this matter as proof.
