Spring is coming for sure, and we bet you love that! Time to be inspired and to be creative - It's in our nature. Spring sales will soon make us go crazy out on the street and it's time to enjoy the power of the sun. But first we have to enjoy our easter break and celebrate the death of Gods only son, "hurray" we say, and cheer it all up with some descent chocolate shaped as bunnies (anyone see the connection?) and easter sales! We sure created a nice little chocolate bunny farm in our fridge, right between cold beer and whiskey bottles... Yes, we have a great sale as well! What about getting our old 2006 debut album for only 10NOK, that's about $1(!), at the Oslo-based record store Tiger? Piracy is for nothing - here's the real deal!! There's still no such thing as opening a fresh copy of CD before you rip it to your digital world of gadgets and computers... Once again, 10NOK! And all the money goes to support our local record store.

Anyone here using Twitter? Get updates and nonesese at www.twitter.com/offpist.

Concert is also coming up at Stavanger Punk Rock Festival @ May 16th with The Exploited, Jonas' other band: Fant and some other great UK and Norwegian band.

We hope you enjoy the Holliday!

Cheers!

Offpist would like to shout out a happy new year to everyone! We hope that 2008 kicked ass and that 2009 will be an even better year. 2008 have been a silent year for Offpist, here's a short summary from our year: We recorded 2 songs and you can hear them here at MySpace or download through PirateBay. Lars Tore, our great friend and our drummer since 2004 have decided to leave the band due to other priorities. We decided to continue as a band, and our friend Jonas Kjærnsrød joined our group. He’s a very talented drummer, and we're really looking forward to start a new year with him and to soon be hitting the road for some crazy tours and to record a new album. Jonas also play drums in Fant and Olafly, be sure to check it out! They’re great.

We hope for the very best in 2009! Spend time well and enjoy!

Sincerely:
Kristoffer, Even, Laban and Jonas.

Hi friends. 2007 is coming towards an end and we just want to send a big THANK YOU to all of our great friends, fans and to those who made this year so great. Our album DeathRace Circus, which is 1 year tomorrow, did sell way more than expected. Thank you!

As for now we've been quite busy with writing new songs and rehearsing. Some new songs will be out in the beginning of 2008 and a tour around Norway and maybe North in Europe might be around the corner. So stay tuned and subscribe to this blog!

We've also updated our MySpace site with some other songs and with some new and old pictures. Check it out. Our album is now also available at iTunes and as DRM-Free and cheaper version at Amazon. We will also lower our prices at Interpunk and soon at Tiger in Oslo. Merch will also come soon.

Thats all for now. Thank you!
Best regards, Kristoffer

Ta for eksempel låta "Simple Minds".

Hello friends. I have some great news about our upcoming album this time! As I wrote earlier, our album is recorded and we had a killer time in Top Room Studio in April and May, and we where very pleased about the result. I also mention that we where looking for someone to mix our album, and we did find one. He's name is Ryan Greene! Ryan is from Crush Recordings in Arizona (USA) and he's mostly know for producing, recording and mixing a lot of great and classic punk rock albums since the late 80s. If you're into punk then you should've heard of bands like NOFX, Strung Out, Lagwagon, Good Riddance, Propagandhi, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Mad Caddies and Sick of it All. Ryan has done some of the greatest albums from these artists and many more, and his sound has been an inspiration for us in over a decade. So it's really an honour to have Ryan Greene working with us, and we're really proud to have his touch of art on this record, which by the way are Ryan's first work with Norwegians!! Yay!

We're also proud to announce that Ryan's good friend Brad Vance from Red Mastering in Los Angeles is doing the final touch on our album this week. Brad is known for mastering album from bands like Turbonegro, NOFX, Mad Caddies, Lagwagon, Cannibal Corps, At the Drive-in and many more. We're looking forward to hear the result.

Preorders of our debut-album can be done through e-mail.

Best regards, Kristoffer

Finally! After so many years our debut-album is finally recorded! 14 days of drinking, shouting and irresistible energy in Top Room Studio resulted in 14 new, and actually some very old, songs for our upcoming album. We are very pleased with the result so far and if everything turns out the way we hope, it'll definitely blow your mind!

We're now looking for the right person to mix our album, and we have been in contact with many interesting people from all over the world. It appears to be very difficult to choose the right studio, you can't just hand over your baby to anyone, you know. But I will assure you that you won't be disappointed.

That's all for now, Im fucking tired

Hello space-friends. We're going back to Top Room Studio this weekend (20-23 April) to record our first full length album!! This is a huge project and it will take some time before it's out. We're hoping to release it before this year ends, but who knows. Stay updated, subscribe to this blog, or whatever. New songs will be on our MySpace site as soon as they're finished.

Have a nice day, take care!
