Friends!

Hope you've all had a lovely summer! It is time for some news:

First of all we want to thank everybody for coming and dancing & partying with us during this summers gigs & festivals!

We've got a new member as well, her name is Dolores and she plays the Trumpet. This is a nice reinforcement of the melody section and has given us more of a balkan brass touch.

Did you spend all the money in the bar at our gig and missed buying that fancy Dorlene Love T-shirt? Check out our webshop at www.hostedshop.se they ship internationally. We've got lots of merch there; T-shirts in all sizes and models, some cool punk patches and bags as well.

The GrandeFamiliaKatastrofe-DorleneLove party continues into the winter void, here are some upcoming autumn gigs:

We will do a radio interview with Rocket FM tomorrow Monday 1st June.

The interview will be in English and you can listen to it in streamed format http://stream.thsradio.se:8000/rocket.xsl If you're in Stockholm the frequency is 95.3

We will play some songs and talk about the single "The only heart I broke was mine" together with MOA who will play some songs from her upcoming album as well.

The interview will take place sometime after 17.00 CET.

The video for the song "The only heart I broke was mine" featuring MOA is now released! MOA is an amazing singer, check out her music here on myspace, her profile is in our top friends list.

The video is directed by Attila Urban (http//www.attilaurban.com). The song will also be released as a single May 27 in Sweden.

As you might have noticed, we've got some European dates confirmed the 16 to 21 June, mainly the Netherlands and a gig i north Germany on the way. We're really looking forward to it and rehearsing new songs. More info on dates and venues coming up so stay tuned.

Two more videos are coming as well, "The only heart I broke was mine" featuring MOA is due to be released in the end of May, and "No regrets" in the end of June.

Hi friends!

We've uploaded some photos from the Dutch tour that we did with DJ Tommi's Balkanbeatz this January. See the photo section here on myspace. Some videomaterial is coming soon as well. We had such a good time that we forgot to take as many photos as we would have wanted... so the photos are not that exciting really, but if you fancy quiet and atmospheric backstage & soundcheck photos you will be pleased.

We've also been really busy working on and recording some new songs lately.... So we're all quite excited about that... Some video recordings from the studio session will be posted soon, so stay tuned.

Oh and last but not least, we're also happy to anounce that we're gonna record some new videos for the songs "No Regrets", "Habibi" and "The only heart I broke was mine" within the next month. Woohooo! And some gigs for the spring/summer are being planned and will be posted soon too.

Alright!

Hardly one day to go before the release date of our debut album Exile Deluxe. So here comes some info about the album and the tracklisting. The album will be released on the legendary swedish punk label Birdnest Records with distribution in scandinavia through Bonnier Amigo. This means that in scandinavia you can get the album from your local record dealer – if your local record dealer still exists, that is. You may also buy the album from most web based record vendours, check out the following:

Ginza.se, Megastore.se, Cdon.com (ships internationally).

If you prefer Mp3:s to the real thing,  the usual Mp3 sites like Itunes and the others should work. Links will be posted here soon.

 
Exile Deluxe contains 11 songs of variying nature. A few re-recorded  Dorlene Love classics that some of you who are familiar with us might recognize. But mostly we’re talking brand new stuff. But you can be shure to find the usual ingredients of harmonies and grooves from the balkans, the middle east and north africa – super charged with punk choruses, psychobilly slapping double bass, distorted guitar, speedy accordion extravanganza, and the usual fierce drumming and D-beat tripplets. The album also features some brilliant guest musicians; a duet with the magnificent blues chanteuse MOA, and some superb cornet, alto saxophone and clarinet from the eminent musicians Matti and Lars from Den Flygande Bokrullen. They’re all among our top friends so be sure to check them out too!

Hi friends!

We have been extremely busy lately which is why we haven´t done so many shows. We are in the middle of recording our debut album! So far things are going excellent!

Its going to be 9-11 songs and we got some great guestmusicians that will help us out. All we can say is that it sounds great, though we still have a lot of things to do.

Track listing will be posted when its ready. The realese date is in march or early april at the latest so stay tuned.

There are no bad news right now, except that somebody broke the window to our car. If there is anybody out there who wants to buy a damaged Chrysler voyager-89 with a broken window, please let us know and we will give you a great price.
