It's finally warming up,trees are starting to get their leaves back, birds seem to be louder, and the sun stronger on my face. Nice to be able to sit outside at night and not freeze. I'm sure with global warming we will all probably be too hot soon, but for right now it feels great. I am putting in a lot time and effort to keep the music going, it always seems like an uphill battle, and quite frankly, lots of times I really want to bag the whole thing and get lost, or give in and get a gig singing stupid songs in the Islands, but that would be too easy, I think I'd rather torture myself [and others] and continue on. Antonia has really been the best, most supportive, person I've ever worked for, and we are so happy to play at her place. We've been doing Thursdays there for one year!! We are going to start having vocalists again, we will do one show at 9pm and feature the best singers around for that one set. The band plays from 7:30 to 11:30 every Thursday and a different vocalist will be featured every week. I am looking forward to being driven crazy by all you divas out there. We will most likely start in about two weeks[ May 8th] Regards, Bronco

February proved to be one crazy month. On the 1st, I completely destroyed my car, I must have hit some black ice, I went into a spin that I couldn't pull out of, and smashed into a guard rail. I somehow made it home, airbags in my face, no lights, tires going flat, etc. I was only about a mile away, and did not want to wait for the police. When I got home, the car completely fell apart, just like in the movies !! Anyway, the insurance co. said it was a total loss, gave me a bunch of money and I found a genius autobody guy who put the car back together for me. So I'm back in my favorite car, driving a little slower. I truly do have a guardian angel looking out for me. Playing lots of gigs with various people, in the studio finishing up a demo, and moving. It's a new chapter in an old story, I look forward to Spring and plan on being busy, working towards a new beginning, and waiting for someone to make me smile again. Regards, Bronco

Guitar night at Tomaso's, seems to be taking off. Gene Cornish is the featured artist. Lou Volpe, Jono Frola and myself are the other guitarists. Its really a lot of fun. We play instrumental arrangements of some of the tunes from the Rascals, since Gene was in that band, and what ever else comes into our heads, blues, jazz, latin etc. The next gig is Tues. Feb. 19 @ 8p.m. It looks like we will be playing at B.B. Kings also, but I don't when as yet. Doing some recording at Visionary Music, for a new demo. Richie Gonzales, drums, Mark Peterson, bass, Robin Filippone, vocals and Chris Persad on trumpet. So far it sounds great. Off to Antonias. Regards Bronco

Lots of changes, some good, some not. I've met a few outstanding singers and musicians over the last few weeks, and hope that this will lead to interesting collaborations in the near future. On a more somber note. I lost two very dear friends [ on the same day] master pianist Lou Argessi and family friend Carol Griffin. To say that was awful, is an understatement. Anyway, life goes on for the rest of us, and it makes you appreciate the time we have here to make as much music as possible. My trip to Florida keeps getting pushed back, and before you know it Spring will be here. I look forward to that, even though that time of year seems to get me in trouble. Regards to all. Bronco

The cd I played on has been released, the title is Love Notes, featuring vocalists Roger Case and Dakota Macleod. Ray Naccari is the producer and arranger. Half of the profits from the cd will go to The New Orleans Mission for the homeless & Tulane University. I'm proud to be a part of helping to rebuild New Orleans. So when you see this cd, buy it and help out this most unique city. Regards, Bronco

well so much for plans. Things change quickly, Miami may not be happening at all. I still plan to do some traveling, but gigs are more important, and since I started teaching again, priorities change.I have been offered work in Palm Beach, so that will be fun. I should know soon when that begins. The recording I did for Ray Naccari ,[ Roger Case is the artist] is being released this week,so that might lead to a tour also, we'll see. Regards, Bronco
