so yeah i was shooting off some fireworks with pete today and a couple tipped over and started shooting towards us, and one tube and hit me in the eye. so yeah now i have a black eye and a gash on my nose that wont stop bleeding, but dont worry next year uncle bob will be back with more fireworks and everyone can see him get hurt yet again...

Decisions were made by going "eeny-meeny-miney-moe"

Mistakes were corrected by simply exclaiming, "do over!"

"Race issue" meant arguing about who ran the fastest.

Money issues were handled by whoever was the banker in "monopoly"

It wasn't odd to have two or three "best" friends.

Being old, referred to anyone over 20.

The chance to skate as a couple at the local roller rink was like winning the lottery....

The worst thing you could catch from the opposite sex was cooties.

Nobody was prettier than Mom

Nobody was cooler than Dad

Scrapes and bruises were kissed and made better

It was a big deal to finally be tall enough to ride the "big people" rides at the fair...

When playing nintendo was the hardest thing ever.

When ninja turtles ruled the world.
