Cast Your Dreams to be Featured on

Time After Island Time

This song "Burning Wood" was inspired by OPEC during the first oil crunch in the eighties.  Back then I played folk, country a little blue grass and wrote a few songs in that style.     

The song is based on real events and a disire to stay warm in the cold winter months.  I bought a Vermont Castings stove that could be converted to a coal burner which kept my wife and I warm all winter long for several years until we moved from the small cape in which we lived. 

I find myself once again stoking the fire and thought this may be a good time to release this song of mine that OPEC helped inspire! 

The song is currently available through CDBaby and will be out soon on iTunes, Amazon and more.  While there, you can also check out my other releases "Ice Cold Beer" and my album "Living on Island Time"

"Living on Island Time"

Well it took long enough to finally come up with a permanent location for our recording studio.  After trying out several locations we settled on a room over our garage that basically was our sports room. 

Now over the past 12 years we have collect all kinds of equipment, shirts, hats, baseball gloves, hockey sticks and skates a surf board, snow shoes, ski's, snow boards, wake boards and a whole lot more.  All this stuff is hung up on the walls and ceiling which is 14' high at it's center.  The suf board hangs right over the recording equipment and the ceiling is filled with baseball and hockey jersey's worn by the boys over the years.  The room is shaped like an old carriage house thus the name of the new studio. 

We have a new slide show on the site here where you can see some of the pictures taken during a recent recording session.  More pictures will follow.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoy the music and here is a quick update with what has been going on with my music.

My music is being played on Radio JimmyDreamz, my song "Island Time" was number 1 on their Top Ten List for most of February 2007, Boat Shoes also made it to number 1, Pina Colada made it to the number 2 spot while all six songs from the CD made it onto their Top Ten list as well between Jan. & Feb. this year. 

"Island Time" has been played on John Cody's Endless Summer Radio Show while "Martinique", "Pina Colada" and "Island Time" were featured on his "New England Show" on Permanent Vacation Radio. 

"Pina Colada" was featured on the TropiCast Radio Showcase podcast.  "Pina Colada", "Island Time" and "Boat Shoes" are being played on TropiCast Radio.

"Martinique" and "Boat Shoes" are in regular rotation on Parrot Island Radio. 

"Martinique" was played on Dennis "DK" King's Island Time Radio Show Monday night 2-26-07 Heard on WBWC 88.3 FM in Cleveland, Ohio and at www.WBWC.com on the web and I am scheduled to do a live radio interview with Dennis "DK" King on April 30th.

 One final note, I have been selected as the Featured Artist of the Month for July on TropicalDreams in an interview by:  Billy Peoples.
