The Nature Conservancy has a major project to help reduce Global Warming. They are planting a billion trees in the Atlantic Amazon Forest of Brazil. This forest is only 7 percent of it's original size and it and all of it's inhabitants are endangered.
"Tropical Forests are the lungs of the Earth, storing enormous amounts of carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen into the atmosphere in a never ending cycle of life. The Atlantic Forest - one of the biggest tropical forests in the world - helps regulate the atmosphere and stabilize global climate."
