ISLAND LOVER

Lucie Burns aka Lazy Hammock is addicted to music!
Having her roots in the drum and bass community this multi-talented singer, songwriter, DJ and producer got deeper into laid-back music. With her second release in 2007 she proves that lounge music isn't "background music". The album "Island Lover" is a perfect home listening album to relax and chill… But this album is also a reference for DJ's who play down tempo and ambient sets. Eleven tracks drenched with positive energy and feelings. Music that captured the energy of the sun. This is definitely a "Perfect Ten" album, nearly each of these ten tracks could be released as a successful single, and each track is perfectly arranged. But the thing I really love about this album is the effect on its listener, warm and positive. It spends strength and a nonesuch high-spirits feeling. Just combination of talent and a positive attitude to life can engender such a beautiful record. As I said, this music is too good just as played in the background, put on your headphones and follow Lucie aka Lazy Hammock to a wonderful vacation on her personal Island!
High Class Downtempo meets soulful Chill music… 10+

LOST IN DREAMS

"Lost in Dreams" - is the one of the two albums restless Lazy Hammock released in 2007.
A very special album that opens up the gates for you to step into a new and peaceful world of sounds. Don't be reserved when you hear that this music is mainly written for meditation and relaxation… Do you also have sometimes the feeling that the clock runs faster and faster each year? I do so.. This wonderful relaxed music is like an anchor, an anchor you can throw in the water near your dream island, an anchor you can trust in because he will protect your well-being. Very laid-back and ambient are the tracks of this wonderful album, but also far away from that stuff you get in the supermarket under the name "relax music". Each track is written with heart and soul, they own a deepness that rarely can be found in this genre. Maybe this also a result of Lucie Burns aka Lazy Hammock musical socialisation. She knows about the skills of producing music and is also known from her active times in the drum and bass scene. "Lost In Dreams" is a wonderful album to chill, ten stunning tracks made to come down and forget the troubles of your day. This music lets the sun shine on at the greyest day in your life - it gives a safe and warm feeling through its fragile arrangements and thought-out sounds.
A wonderful essential album, that will make your day!

We all dream of having the life we want, but is that really possible? i believe it is, but there is a process and a scientific method to reaching that place.

When you dream, do you really believe your dreams can become reality, or are they something that will stay out of reach, because you don't really believe they're yours' to have?

The key to success is in our thoughts, feelings and actions. To me, success means inner contentment and peace, a job we love and enjoy which provides for ourselves and our families and a life of abundance in all areas.

THE LAW OF ATTRACTION;- Like attracts like, we are walking magnets. We are energy, all energy vibrates, but it vibrates on different levels. We want to consciously vibrate on a higher level.

LOW LEVEL VIBRATION - when you feel upset, angry, jealous, hurt etc.
HiGH LEVEL VIBRATION - When you feel happy, excited, positeve etc.

I know its not an easy task to do this, as we have conditioned ourselves and have let external circumstances condition us to such an extent that quite often our normal state of being is vibrating on a very low level.

This can be changed, by making good feelings and thoughts become habits. If we do something often enough it will become habit. But to do this we have to be aware of our thoughts and feelings.

Pay attention to your thoughts, look at how your thoughts bring things into your life, good or bad. Be the master of your mind. We can choose to think differently.

Everything in our lives, we created. Our environment is a reflection of ourselves. Until you accept those fact's you can't move any further forwards. As long as we're victims, we cannot be in control of our own lives. If you believe that something outside of yourself is responsible for the way your life is and the way you feel, and as long as you give that power away, you will NEVER have that power to change. Its all down to taking responsibility for where you are now.

HOW DO I CHANGE THE NOW?

What we are living this present moment is a result of what we created in the past, CAUSE and EFFECT. If we keep living and talking about the negative effect of what we created, we can't move away from it, we will continue to create more of it. What we need to do is separate the now. WE CAN create a new future, but we must make different causes NOW. We must focus on what we want. Negative Cause....Negative Effect, Positive Cause....Positive EFFECT.

Design your own life. If you can't think of what you want, think of what you don't want, then you'll know what you want. Believe you can have it. To bring more abundance into our lives, it is important to have gratitude for what we have already, this will create more things to be grateful for.

I recently watched a motivational video and the man speaker said, "If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone elses, and guess what they have planned for you?.....NOT MUCH!

This resonated deeply with me, as I have spent the past year making deep decisions and changes within my life and decided it was time to live my life for me, and design my life how I wanted it to be, not to conform to how society wanted or expected me to be. This is how Lazy Hammock came about, but I will go into that another time.

I've so much more to say on this subject, but I will leave it here for now.

Just one last thought..... it's not all about the destination but the incredible journey we are on.

Thanks for sharing

Peace

Hi all, as someone who knows from experience how difficult it can sometimes be to get our music heard and promoted. Of course I will be playing tracks from established acts, but what I really want to do is play unknown and currently unheard artists.

At last at least there is my space, which is absolutely fantastic for hearing new music, but I want people to hear our tunes that don't use my space, or if on my space, can't access us for one reason or another.

As I wrote on my page, I'm looking for music in the downtempo, lounge, dub and breakbeat genres, and a bit of soulful/funky house to warm up the crowd.

LETS CONTINUE TO PROMOTE OURSELVES, WE'VE WORKED HARD WRITING THE TRACKS, THE LEAST WE CAN DO IS LET PEOPLE HEAR THEM!!

Contact this page for further details. Peace. LAZY
