Greetings,

For a while now, if you went to maliceradio.com and looked through the archives you would have found Shows 1 through 18. We are currently up to 26 shows and I fell far behind in archiving on the site. With our new video format, it isn't just a simple matter of uploading the shows. The steps taken are downloading the shows from our video server at LiveStream, converting them over to MPEG format and then producing the many parts of each show and stringing them together. Once that is done, I upload each part to a server with a descriptive synopsis along with copyright information regarding the artists we play and/or feature. For each hour of a show it takes at the very least two hours to convert, edit, produce and upload.

Currently I have uploaded Shows 19, 20 and 21 into the archive. I am working feverishly each day as time permits to get it archived all the way to Show 26. So, if there was a favorite show you wanted, keep checking the archives as it is updated almost daily with new videos.

Finally, new show ideas and material are being worked on. In the coming weeks you will be seeing sketch comedy characters being introduced, including a regular Malice Radio News broadcaster.

We've invested in over $400 in props, including wigs, stage makeup, and clothing. We've also purchased two blue screen back-drops and software to incorporate CGI to make the sketches that much more animated.

Some of the segments we are looking at doing include:

The Cougar Show
Malice Radio News
Star Trek Geeks (Malice Radio's Tech Engineers)
Malice Radio Music In Review

And more...

I don't want to let on too much, but I am sure you can use your imagination. Currently, we have Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis, Jr. making appearances from the afterlife and Frank Sinatra's nemesis, Frank Snotra; a man so congested that each time he tries to sing Sinatra hits, he fails. Ironically, he has one hell of a fan base. Sugarballs gets all the credit for these gems.

In short, Malice Radio will be evolving to get much funnier than it is now, even going out on location to mess with the general public. Stay tuned!

Greetings,

Show 25(B) is now streaming live here and at maliceradio.com. The original Show 25 aired roughly 4 weeks ago but was ruined during the recording process when our video server took a massive dump. The video and audio were off sync by 3 to 5 seconds and as the show progressed, it became garbled and the audio all but dropped out.

Right now we are trying to find a new video host provider. Until such time we do, we are stuck with this LiveStream service. We thought about paying for the service by switching to their Pro package, but paying $350 per month seemed very high for what little you get. Add to that the instability of their server and we decided not to touch it.

Anyway... the FUNNIEST part of the entire show night actually happened off the air afterward when we called sex-chat hotlines and acted very unlike our ages. Yes, we recorded them. I haven't decided if I will post them at maliceradio.com or just wait until the next show. I'll probably wait.

Greetings,

Malice Radio seems to be on track with a show every two weeks. We do this to accommodate everyone's schedule, else we would have a show more times each week. The time elapse also gives us room to improve over time so that we can go live several times a week.

Shows 19 through 22 are available here at MySpace in the Mogulus window within the On-Demand feature. We highly recommend using this rather than the looped version that plays automatically. For some reason it skips, but the On-Demand feature runs fairly smoothly. You can also fast-forward and rewind to any point of the show you wish.

The Mp3 versions of these shows have not been uploaded as of yet, however I have edited Show 19 down and am working on the rest. The new site, of which I am largely unfamiliar with, takes getting used to and getting the format right for updating. So, there is a learning curve for me. Anyway, with a little patience I will have the Mp3 versions up soon.

Our co-host Bishop is still within his Marine Corps training but is due back the 8th of June. He is quite eager to return and we can't wait! We're going to test new waters by sending Bishop, Shadow and Bill out on location to do public polls and various other things that are politically incorrect... oh hell, just plain immoral!

In other news: I'm going over show footage and during the past few shows you hear nothing but chewing and eating over the mics. If anyone should be eating it should be me! Does anyone else listening find this to be completely unattractive? To the show crew: Eating is fine, BEFORE THE SHOW, AFTER THE SHOW or away from the mics during the show! No one wants to hear you smacking and chewing. If you don't believe me, go back and have a listen. I feel better now that I have gotten that off my chest.

And then there is the cell phone ringing issue during the broadcast. HELLO! Did everyone forget how badly I suffer from ADD??? And Mencius as well, even though he denies it. It's called silent mode. Live it. Learn it. Love it.

Now that the lashings are out of the way... Bill (That guy who built our computers and rants about conspiracies)... yeah, that guy! Anyway... he is doing a GREAT job with the SFX! When he's not sticking his tongue out and licking his lips, he is a valuable resource to us! He is also great to have around when I am in the mood to bash Microsoft!

John Fry touches base with me throughout the week and we are going over sketch comedy and trying to feel each other out (I really hate that I used the words "touches base with me" and "feel each other out" in the same sentence regarding Fry).

Finally, I think Mencius' mom said he isn't allowed to talk to us anymore after she was on the last show. I could hardly blame her after John Fry assaulted her with the Sugar-Balls line. And Kim seems to have fallen from the map. I think she's pissed since I called her out on last week's show. Hey... this is Malice Radio! Last time I checked I hated Disney. I never was one to suffer fools and I am not about to start now.

Mencius: Call. We are worried.

Kim: If wrestling isn't in the way of your schedule, write a note to let us know everything is okay and that strangers aren't having sex in your bathroom.

What do we have planned for Show 23? Do I look like the kind of guy who has a plan? Join us on Sunday, 24 June at 8PM Eastern Time / 5PM  Pacific when we go live once again. Call in at 717-79-TUG-ME!

Yours,

Show #19 featuring Bangor Maine's The Epicene will be next in the MP3 update.

Greetings,

The ultimate test was put forth with our new server at Mogulus for Show 18. We featured the Russian band Stillborn Diz and it was a lot of fun!

So... if you want to watch the feed, there are two ways in which to do so. The first way is to just enter our MySpace page or maliceradio.com and watch the 24 hour loop.

I suggest watching by way of On-DEMAND for several reasons. In the video window you will notice the On-DEMAND button. Pressing this button will reveal Show #18 archived and you can select it and watch the feed from the start. Now, that said... if you do this you will notice that the first 3 minutes or so has video but no sound. That is because of a technical problem we were having with the audio... and we were completely unaware of it.

Roll your cursor over the small timeline and you will see that you can rewind or fast-forward to any time within the feed to your liking. So... you can fast-forward past the 3 minutes of dead audio to the point where I catch it and restart the show. Watching the live 24 hour loop has, at times, jumps and skips, and you are at the mercy of where it currently is in the playback. So, go with On-DEMAND. If you don't have time to watch the full feed, you can return later and watch from where you left off by finding the time-frame where you left off.

Please understand we were working with a host of new software and were working through technical aspects throughout the show. So, you will hear parts that the audio just falls out... like when we played the first Stillborn Diz song and at roughly 48 minutes and 30 seconds into the show the audio falls out. I recover the sound at around 49:44. We've solved these problems for the future. You see... much work goes into the show even after the broadcasts.

Okay... I'm done for now. I'll return for more later. Enjoy the show... and yes, I will have the mp3 versions up at maliceradio.com soon. There are only so many hours in the day.

Greetings,

Join us tonight at 8PM EST / 7PM Central / 5PM Pacific for our show, which will be streamed live on video. Tonight's show features an interview with Stillborn Diz from Moscow, Russia.

After we warmed them up a bit we had fun having me massacre the Russian language for Dani Vice's amusement.

Australia's Michael Plater's new song will be featured and we're expecting a phone call from Filthy Gorgeous, who will be performing LIVE in Key West, Florida tonight. Filthy Gorgeous was featured on Malice Radio Show #8. We also expect to hear from Cosmo of Scream Machine, promoting their new album "Nona."

John Fry of Fuji Minx should be joining us live as well from Los Angeles, California with his newly created game-show: Celebrity Impersonations. Mencius The Magnificent will be the MC of that venue.

Much more is in store, but right now I need to get some sleep. I have to pick out what I am to wear... LOL. We now have up to four video cameras that will be filming the show and I have to get my practice in with the transitioning of cams. The video feeds will be recorded, so if you can't watch live, then you can watch them On-Demand from our home page at maliceradio.com or MySpace. Of course we will also be archiving this in MP3 format as we always do. See you tonight!

Greetings,

Mencius and I have just finished setting up the new video server for LIVE Malice Radio broadcasts. All thanks go to Greta of Fuji Minx who spammed us with all the details!

Unlike the other server we used, this one allows us to play prerecorded feeds while we are off the air. It also begins playing the feed when you load our MySpace page or watch from maliceradio.com. It provides a chat server and allows us to run multiple cameras at one time during a broadcast.

Right now there is a prerecorded feed that is set to play various videos of Stillborn Diz and Fuji Minx. Below it there is a ticker that will tell you of upcoming events with Malice Radio. Currently we are set to broadcast LIVE again on Sunday, March 15 at 8PM EST / 5PM Pacific, where we are hoping to feature Stillborn Diz out of Moscow, Russia.

I've chatted with Stillborn Diz's lead vocalist Dani Vice over the weekend while they were taking a break from their new video shoot and she is answering questions for the interview by way of prerecorded answers. Due to the language barrier of Russian and English, we found that it is best this way.

Again, many thanks to Greta Valenti and Mencius for their help in getting this launched. Stay tuned!

Yours,

Jeremy Malice

PS: If you have videos and want them promoed on the prerecorded feed, just drop us a line. We pull from YouTube.

Greetings,

Wow... I took the day off today and after producing Show 17 and uploading it this morning I've found I have a lot of things to adjust... mainly me!

If you have no idea what I am talking about, go have a listen. Imagine throwing a kid with Attention Deficit Disorder into a room full of exotic butterflies and blinking lights and asking him to stay focused in a conversation. That was me on Show #17 from my perspective.

On the show we had upwards of 10 people participating. We had Shadow, myself, Sin and Mencius in the studio. We had John Fry & Greta of Fuji Minx, Adrian of Das Gift, Sindelle & Cosmosis of Scream Machine, and the owner of Bill's Computing (Ironically his name is Bill) who built our computer systems for Malice Radio (Yes, we gave him shit for the name).

Okay... so there is the set-up. Those would be the pretty little butterflies of assorted colors. The blinking lights would be various things, such as the sounds of Mencius breathing on his microphone and flashing me little notes I needed about the chat-server and time constraints, Sin's telephone ringing in the studio and various interruptions by Skype's software chiming in at the worst times.

My problem is that my focus can be ripped apart very easily through distraction. I think Christian Bale and I suffer A.D.D. to very much the same degree, only I am not a cock about it.

After listening I just wanted to make phone calls to John Fry and Greta Valenti... Adrian James... to just tell them... yeah, I heard you after the fact! There was one part where John Fry makes a comment about the video footage. He stated: "I feel like I am looking at a screen full of binary numbers." I just got the joke, but in all actuality I was distracted by so much activity. He was referring to looking over at Mencius, me and then Sin and making the observation based upon our sizes; of how we look like 0-1-0. I would like to see that in digital rendering.

Then at the end of the show, John Fry gives Grave Concerns Ezine props for an interview and I, distracted, think he is talking about our interview with them. In rushes Greta to clear up the confusion and no one caught it. Grave Concerns did a fantastic interview with Fuji Minx and you can check it out at http://graveconcernsezine.com. There is a host of other mishaps, so it is almost like a game. It's like playing Where's Waldo, so have fun with it!

I promise to work on it and to try and limit the number of people on at once. The problem is, is that I wanted them all at once; like that disgusting orgy party John Fry invites you to each weekend and... nevermind.

So, if you listen to the show and wonder, now you know. One of the steps we will take is getting new equipment that our computer technician (Bill) says will cure our phone problem where people are being trampled on and overtaken, providing a much clearer phone reception able to handle a volume of callers.

That said, the show turned out pretty good I think. You can tune to it at http://maliceradio.com and you can watch the archived video footage at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/malice-radio. Enjoy!

Yours,

                Jeremy (A.D.D.) Malice

PS: Mencius, you did one hell of a job with what I stacked on you at the last minute!

Greetings,

Show #16 is now up at maliceradio.com. This show was broadcasted live on Sunday, 22 February 2009. The show features your humble host coming out in a bit of a rage after his recent divorce and subsequent losses... changing the format of the show to lay waste to the world and it's atrocities. The title of the show is "The World Is Not Enough!"

Amanda from near ....Atlanta.., ..Georgia.... calls in. It was her birthday party we attended when we took the Malice Road Trip in 2007 where October Frequency played live. Kim from ....Virginia.... calls in. Kim was responsible for getting us an interview with ..Bangor.., ..Maine..'s The Epicene (Show #9) and a future interview with Stillborn Diz out of ....Moscow.., ..Russia.....  She fucks with the staff and tells them she is a post-op tranny. Also, Cardinal Sin reveals that he was hit on and kissed by a guy just recently at a club. He also reveals that he has had fantasies of being with a guy and tries to get all the guys on the show to admit they have too. Christian Bale's July 2007 blow-up on the set of the new Terminator movie is played and discussed, former pot-smokers within the Malice staff are revealed. Malice plays and old prank call where he called a hospital claiming to be an alien who performed an anal probe that went horribly wrong and he needs an ambulance. Jeremy Malice plays some of the worst bands he has ever heard on the Net, Mencius takes advantage of the format change and goes all out 80's with a music flashback, and Jeremy Malice plays back some audio from Show #11 where he was very drunk. There’s much more in-between. Have fun with this one.

Yours In Darkness,

Jeremy Malice
