Many of you have been sending me e-mails, private messages, phone calls, text messages and what not asking if everything is alright with me. Well it’s that time where I finally cave in and tell you all what is on my mind and life right now. 1) As many of you know this is my first year without my great grandmother as she had passed away recently. Being 106 years old is long enough of a life to live and she lived it every day until she left this place called earth to go be with her husband up in heaven and friends and other family members up there. We will always miss you great grandma. 2) Secondly I have been thinking a lot lately about my very near future life. As many of you know back in 2008 I was enlisting in the USAF (United States Air Force) but was abruptly halted due to some medical conditions that came upon me at the age of twenty-three years old I ended up having gall stones and later removed my gallbladder so I won’t have the same thing happen to me later in life. Well that disqualified me from leaving for basic training in November 2008 for six months. After six months I went onto trying to pursue a whole new career choice away from military life as a firefighter/medic in San Diego. Unfortunately that was abruptly stopped by failing the final exam for my EMT certification by “ONE” point. Since failing that test by the one point I have been more or so on the depression state of things and thinking about some things I should not think about however I did figure one thing out “Military Life” 3) Third thing that has been bugging the heck out of me. If you’re going to post any sort of comments onto my Face Book or MySpace pages be sure the comments are not demeaning, hurtful or ignorant in any way as I will delete those comments. Your friends on my accounts for reasons and if you continue to post crap like that then I will just delete you from my accounts all together. Your friends of mine not enemies so you don’t need to post ignorant crap on my comments that aren’t in any way, shape, or form of a motivational comment or helpful comment. 4) Military life blog coming soon, check back soon. 5) Other blogs about my life coming soon, check back soon.

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don’t speak often, please post a comment with a memory of me. It can be anything you want - good or bad. When your finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.....

"A Firemans Life"
A fireman's life is one big surprise, Usually he laughs, sometimes he cries. There's always stress, toil and strife, Hoping he's good enough to save just one life.
His wife understands, when he misses dinner, If he runs out of church, don't think he's a sinner. Answering a call, is tops on his list, Regretting each one he's ever missed.
He tries and tries, but can't make us see, The happiest men, still work for free. Jumping from bed, fighting the cold, Knowing what to do, without being told.
He rushes to the station, jumps on a truck. Depending on skill, never on luck. Putting his life on the line, for an unknown friend, Hoping and praying, it won't be the end. "The Bravest Men in the World", the title is fitting, They all do their best, never come close to quitting. Next time you see them, all their lights blinking, Take just a minute, to think what they're thinking.
It's a hard job, so show them you care, And help them out, with a little prayer.

Your alarm goes off, you hit the snooze and sleep for another 10 minutes.
My tone goes off at 2 in the morning and im on my way to a wreck with entrapment. __________________________
You take a warm shower to help you wake up.
I've been awake for three days working at four different stations running calls all day and night and doesn't get to shower. __________________________
You complain of a "headache", and call in sick.
I get burned or trapt inside, or while cutting someone out of a car something flys off the car and injures me, or car explodes, I get called to a medical call where someone was shot and I wonder if that person still around?? Is he going to shoot me?? __________________________
You meet up with your friends at the camp and get drunk!
I respond to the unconsious people and the grass fire you started. __________________________
You make sure you're cell phone is in your pocket.
I kiss the maltese cross around my neck and I say a prayer before I go in the burning building. __________________________
You talk trash on your "buddies" that aren't with you.
I pray that my brothers next to me come out alive and we watch out for eachother..for we know the value of a true friend and are brothers for life. __________________________
You walk down the beach, staring at all the pretty girls.
I crawl around a pitch black, totally involved house searching for the old lady and her grandchild that didnt make it out. __________________________
You complain about how hot it is.
I wear my heavy gear, not takeing it off in the 900 degree heat and flames for I appreciates the heat and learns to deal with it __________________________
You go out to lunch, and complain because the restaurant got your order wrong.
All I got was a MRE from a rehab truck because I only have a 10 minute break before I have to go back out and try to stop the three hundred acre grass fire from reaching any houses. __________________________
Your maid makes your bed and washes your clothes.
I wear the same things for days, but I makes sure my trucks, gear, and equipment are clean. __________________________
You go to the mall and get your hair redone.
I didnt have time to take a shower or brush my teeth this morning because I got a four alarm fire. __________________________
You call your girlfriend and set a date for that night.
I go sometimes days not going home or seeing the ones I love. __________________________
You hug and kiss your girlfriend, like you do everyday.
I look at the picture that I keep in my gear and kisses it and says baby i promise im comeing home soon and if i dont I love you and i just hope i did everything in my power to make you happy. __________________________
You roll your eyes as a baby cries.
I sit on the curb and my budies kneel down and cry and say a prayer for the child that didnt make it. __________________________
You criticize your local firestation because they got behind you andwere holding down the airhorn trying to get you to get out of the way
I pray even if you dont move out of the way that we can make it in time to save the people inside and maybe even the house. __________________________
You hear firefighters joke around and say they are nothing but a bunch of jackasses
I hear the tone and I'm are ready in a moments notice, its all fun when its just me and my buddies at the station playing around, once that tone goes off its all work and no play! __________________________
You hear on the news some firefighters were laughing at a wreck and think assholes
I see the only way to try not to cry out in front of everyone because someone didnt make it was to tell a joke about one of his buddies. __________________________
You stay at home and watch tv.
I take whatever time he is given to clean, eat, fix something at the station, cook, wash firetrucks, and then relaxe for 20 minutes and has to go assist a medic unit with a collapse patient. __________________________
You crawl into your bed, with down pillows, and try to get comfortable.
I crawl into a single person bed with a stiff pillow and just a sheet at 4 in the morning to try and sleep until 5 before I have to go to my next shift at one of the other stations. __________________________
You sit there and judge him, saying he is stupid for running into a burning building
If only there were more men like me!

A firefighter and his bride to be were killed on their way to the wedding. When they reached heaven they spent the first two weeks enjoying the wonder of it all however they still desired a wedding. So the truckie goes to St Peter and asks if it is possible to have a wedding in Heaven.
"I don't know," said St . Peter. "I'll get you an appointment with the Chief and you can ask him."
Two weeks later the couple are escorted in to a meeting with the Lord where they repeat their request. The Lord pondered a minute and said, "Give it five years and if you still want to get married come ask me again."
The couple were unhappy but time flies in heaven so they went about their business for the next five years and returned to ask the Lord once again. Again he asked them to "wait five more years and see." They left and waited for five more years before returning to see the Chief again. This time he had a different answer.
"My children you may certainly get married. In fact, the whole wedding is on me! Be in the gardens next Saturday at 10 AM."
On the appointed day they arrived to find the most beautiful sight they could have imagined. Flowers were everywhere, the heavenly choir was in great voice, Ghandi was there is his best robe sitting by Golda Miere. It was a joyous ceremony.
Unfortunately after a few week the firefighter and his bride decided it was all a mistake. So once more they had to go in front of the Lord to ask for a divorce.
After hearing their plea, the Lord leaned close and shook his head.
"Sorry, I can't do it. It took me ten years to find a priest up here. How long do you think it would take me to find a lawyer?"

"A Firefighter's Tears"
The alarm rang, as it had so many times before. He was the first of the firefighters up and out, Awakened from his bed at the station By the clanging of the bell. Engine 12 pulled out of the hall, Dispatch paged another station. And all the firemen aboard the truck Were tensed with anticipation " It's gonna be a nice 'un, boys," He said as he donned his gear. And the young bucks smiled at him As they drew ever near. They turned onto his own street And he could see the fire's work He hoped their mother woke his kids To see their dad at work. His heart sank as he saw the home That he so dearly loved Going up in Smoke and Flames As he donned his gloves. Aggressively he hit the fire And searched the rooms above. And with a flare of personal vengeance He saved what remained of his home. As he left the world of flaming hell He saw his little girl He ran quickly to her side and said, "Honey, Daddy's here." He would never forget what next she said: As he held her close, "I love you, Daddy," she whimpered, And he began to weep. She died in his arms that night... The others, later on.... His comrades gave him their respects but his Family was gone. He sits alone at the station, now, There's no more spring in his step. He stays detached from his fellows to avoid once again being hurt. He risks it all in fires, now, No more concerns for his safety. He has taken a solemn vow. He won't let it happen to another, as long as he's around.

"The Firefighters!"
In the battle against the beastly fire... They stay together, ready to fight! To help all the victims of every accident, committed to rescue, by day and by night.
These are the courageous Firefighters, In their cities and towns of every land. They stand together as really true friends, Routinely they're all working hand in hand.
Everyone of them looks after the other, Their brotherhood knows no borders...! They are ready to help in their unselfish way, Without fear, they follow their orders!
Many of them gave their lives in New York, On September the eleventh, two thousand and one...! Firefighters everywhere will remember that day, And their feelings of loss will never be gone.
Written by: Tim
May we always remember their sacrifce, in their quest to help and save the lives of innocent victims, on that tragic day of Sept. 11. 2001 in New York City, USA.
~A word after...., from "ground zero!"~ What we are left with, surrounded by death and fear, in our sense of loyalty and of duty... which calls upon us to place a shining beacon of hope in this world, and to entrust the universal darkness to the light of God.

"Firefighters Prayer"
When I am called to duty, God, wherever flames may rage, Give me the strength to save some life whatever be its age. Help me embrace a little child before it is too late, or save an older person from the horror of that fate. Enable me to be alert and hear the weakest shout, and quickly and efficiently to put the fire out. I want to fill my calling and to give the best in me, to guard my every neighbor and protect his property. And if according to my fate I am to lose my life this day, Please bless with your protecting hand my family this I pray.
