Release Notes : The Omnimotion Remix EP is the result of a very interesting process involving musicians from all over the world. It is all started with a live recording of a studio sessions by 3 musicians in Auckland, New Zealand. The samples produced from the studio session were then mixed by DJ Bes to produce the track Omnimotion. With some great help from talented producers from different parts of the world, MikelaBella can now proudly present the Omnimotion Remix EP. The EP presents a broad spectrum of genres from the techno inspired yet melodic original by DJ Bes to the minimal techy sound of N-Levy from Israel, beautiful progressive house by the German artist Dick Bender, progressive trance from Birk hailing from Denmark and a killer break beat version by Lysdexic from Australia. As a bonus the EP also includes a remix by MikelaBella label owner Raijin Gaijin with his techno touch. a perfect EP for all dance floors.

Indepth
 Shahar Melamed, 25 years old from Haifa, is without a doubt one of the rising forces in the Israeli electronic scene. Shahar has performed live all around the globe, spinning in places like UK, Spain, Hungary, Portugal, Russia and France, and in leading Israeli events such as Love Parade,festivals and major clubs like Oman17 Ultrasound and the list goes on. Shahar also holds a residency in one of Israel's leading club nights at LUNA club, . Shahar's DJ sets are always diverse and fresh, fusing the best of genres like Electro, Minimal, Breaks and progressive house & trance grooves.

SIDE B is Masanori Itabashi (DJ ITA) and Ryori Nakamura, techy and electronic dance music live unit coming from the hearts of Tokyo Japan.
Masanori Itabashi started DJ activities in 1990 at legendary club "Gold", has seen the whole dance music movement arise in Tokyo. His influences came from the sounds of the underground club dance music, such as a dub, soul, funk, acid jazz, house and techno during the early 90', and now he plays electro, tech, progressive style.
Ryori Nakamura started making his own music in the end of 80'. In 1996, he formed trance live unit named "Yamabikaya", released 1st ep in 1998, album in 2000 from Shiva Space Rec.
Masanori Itabashi and Ryori Nakamura co-starred many times in the event from 1997, sympathized with the attitude to dance music. While pursuing their interest and love for music, they finally formed dance music live unit "SIDE B" in 2005. After their debut live on Dec 2005, they played live act at various clubs in Tokyo and frequently plays at Tokyo's mega culb "ageha".

Master Margherita :

Moreno Antognini is a musician based in Switzerland. Since 1988, he has been very active in the european music scene where his first steps were as a bass player in various Rock'n'Roll bands. In 1994 he started composing tracks which mixed and matched live instruments with all sorts of electronic "devices". this experimentation saw a change of musical direction for him into the world of "ambient" soundscapes. since then his talent has been appreciated in many styles, from french text songs, to experimental techno, via ethnic grooves and reggae.

In 2003, with trance dj - Gaspard, musician - Ajja S.F.Leu and artist - Tanina Munchkina, he took part in the creation of PEAK records (the first Swiss psychedelic trance label). Peak records is now one of the top underground labels, with over 15 releases...

Master Margherita has collaborated in all sorts of artistic creations where music is involved, including music for theatres, documentaries, fiction movies, labels, and many multimedia performances.

Nya :

Born in Switzerland in 1970. Spent a couple of years in the States during the 70's and 80's.

Discovered Linton Kwesi Johnson and Benjamin Zepheniah around 1982. Fell in love with dub.

Discovered the old school hip hop artists, Grandmaster Flash, Afrika Bambaataa, Run DMC around 1983.

Got busy with a pad and pen. Made the Nazarite vow, let my locks and beard grow, became a vegetarian.

Moved to Lausanne in 1990. Studied political science.

Co-founded a hardcore funk rap combo called Real Audio Warfare in 1991. Co-founded Silent Majority with jazz pianist and sampling wizard Pierre Audétat and rapper Ndagijé (aka Dynamike). SM was joined by Marcello Giuliani on bass, Christophe Calpini on drums, DJ Goo and Erik Truffaz on trumpet. Put out 2 albums and an EP between 1993 and 1998. Played gigs in Europe and the States. Mc'd for the Galaktic Sound Lab once a month at legendary Blue Note club in London from 1997 to 1998.

Hooked up with Erik Truffaz to do a couple a tracks on his albums "The Dawn" in 1996 and "Bending New Corners" in 1998. Toured with Erik all over the world from 1996 to 2002. Worked with Patrick Muller Escape, Goo, Mobile In Motion and on music projects of movie maker Siegfried.

Started programming my own beats in 1999. First gig (with Pierre Audיtat) playing my own tracks in 2001.

Playing on a more or less regular basis with Erik Truffaz and Brink Man Ship in 2006.

ZonaSun :

In 2003, beginning as a duo, starts the ZonaSun project. The lyrics, partially written in Italian and partially in English, go with reggae/ragga riddims created with samplers and sequencers. However, the final aim of the project has always been that of creating a tight-knit cheery band that could be musically complete and could give to the songs that certain vital energy that usually streams from live played instruments. That's how, in 2004, ZonaSun becomes an effective reggae band, and today it is based on seven people. Lead voice, back vocals, keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, trumpet, sax, flute and electronic sound effects are the ingredients that contribute to create the typical sound of ZonaSun.

Drawing on the roots of the genre as well as on the surrounding atmosphere, ZonaSun plays a roots and, at the same time, modern kind of reggae, with a special care to melody and experimentation. The vibe is most of all sunny (which fully mirrors the name of the band) but also expressive and dragging.

In 2006 the group participated to the final round of the "European Raggae Contest" at Rototom Sun Splash festival and in 2008, the crowd and the professional jury of "Palco ai giovani" contest in Lugano have honoured ZonaSun with the first place.

In may 2008, ZonaSun also released his first album called "Subliminal Love" and Rete Tre (Swiss State Radio) is already broadcasting 2 of the 10 songs of the album: "Sail" and "Mr. President". "Subliminal Love" marks an important step in the growth of ZonaSun that does not only conclude a period of intense production, but will rather cast the band into a hopefully bright future

In time Chris Volts sound has turned deep andtechy with just a touch of Progressive Chris Volt's sound soon got deep, and techy, with a little bit ofprogressive house sound. ItaiTaiko: ITAITAIKO is the project of Itay Berger (a.k.a Kukan Dub Lagan). Itay is 32 years old. He started listening to trance music since he was 16 years old. Besides going to parties he sometimes also worked at parties as a sound engineer. His decision to make music was strongly influenced by his trip to Ibiza in 1997-8 . Since then he also started to dj in Israel and abroad at mostly underground parties ... During his travels also he djed in Cusco, Peru as well as in New York . His journey into chill-out djing started in 2002 in Israel. Meanwhile he was signed by a UK techno house label (www.klubdj.co.uk) as DJ ITAY for a year and flow to Japan to play at parties in Osaka and Kyoto. Returning back to Israel he enrolled to sound engineering college for one year and totally committed himself to music composition. Drawing from his djing experience, his early family musical influences as well as his own musical background he created two projects.
