I get really excited about events and festivals like this:
ROCKLANDS (SouthEastX).
It utilises some fab venues in SE London and also showcases new bands and just creates an exciting buzz.
I think it's fab, unique and fresh.
London needs more festivals like this.

Hi everyone,
This is our first blog!
So we should start with a huge thank you to all of you who have added the City Superstar MySpace project to your friends list.
City Superstar is about to go into its next phase, and for this part we need the professional singers and artists amongst you to give us some support.
We are not asking for money – so let's clear that up straight away!
What we would like though – is permission to use a publicity photo of you on the main City Superstar web site (www.citysuperstar.com), beneath a caption that reads –
"This artist supports City Superstar 2007 and wishes all the London contestants the very best of luck".
What will this enable? It will enable us to apply for higher profile grants (to keep this free for all the artists), and to help raise the public awareness of this project.
