We just got back from L.A. this week and man did we have a bitchin' time! As soon as the hangover passes I'll see if I can recollect some of the contributions we made on our trip to make the dirtiest rock n roll city in the world just a little bit dirtier.

In the meantime, I'll tell you about the show:

It was wild, Industry Execs from all over the world came to check out bands from just as many unique places rock out at both famous venues: The Whisky a go go and The Viper Room, located at the centre of the rock music world; The Sunset Strip.

We played The Whisky and let me tell you it felt like home. The place is littered with Jack Daniels paraphernalia and the bass pounds so hard that the entire stage shook when we broke out our set with our first tune, Blame it on me. The set pounded hard and before I knew it, it was time to get off the stage and into a Jack and Coke. We had a great time, and I'll share bits and pieces over the next couple weeks but right now I'm feeling inspired to write some music. Stay tuned and I'll update this in a couple days.

Cheers,

Aaron

UPDATE:

So While we were in L.A. not only did we play a few shows, we checked out some serious talent! For those of you looking to discover some truly talented indepenent artists, here are a few you must check out:

Kingston     http://www.myspace.com/kingstonnz

These are a bunch of guys from New Zeleand that know the true meaning of Rock N Roll. Their set is action packed and the tunes are littered with ear busting hooks! I seriously advice looking these guys up.

The Blue Van     http://www.myspace.com/thebluevan

This upbeat group from Denmark kept my attention for their entire set. Their sound quite uplifting, something you'd throw into your deck crusing around on a hot summer day. Check them out, you won't be diappointed.

Dominica     http://www.myspace.com/domenicamusic

All I have to say here is, if you like chicks and you like hard rock, have a listen.

That's all for now, feel free to let me know what you think.

Cheers,

Aaron
