This Sunday night  on Triple J, The Sound Lab checks out what's happening in the Australian dubstep scene.
Just after 11pm until about 12:15am you'll hear from Australian dubstep devotees, DJ BEC PATON, dubstep producer - WESTERNSYNTHETICS and KRISTY BROWN from independent Oz dubstep label, Sub Continental Dub.
Plus you'll hear a bunch of new Australian dubstep and later on in the show WESTERNSYNTHETICS treats us to a special half hour mix.

Melbourne post rock trio, BECAUSE OF GHOSTS are dropping in - new album from them called THE CULTURE OF BACKGROUND NOISE + Fenella catches up with MONK FLY to see what he's been up to lately.

New music from TUSSLE, KOUSHIK, more from TUJIKO NORIKO'S new album, plus remixes of MILOSH, FAMILIJEN and BOMB THE BASS.

Also - you'll get a taste of some of the artists who will be making an appearance at the SOUND SUMMIT and ELECTROFRINGE Festival.

Melbourne's PIKELET is dropping in for a chat and Fenella catches up with DEREK SUPRYKA about the Institute of Sound a new event in Melbourne exploring electronic music - which you'll hear more about on Sunday 24th August. See below..
